Lacrosse

(Kyle) I was talking to my Beta, Asher, who had joined me since I had to be the substitute teacher for gym for the next week. I was not happy about it because I had a lot of pack work to do, but I said I was going to do it to help out a pack member, so here I am. My name is Kyle Black, and I’m the Alpha of the Bloodmoon Pack. Half of the school is mostly werewolves, with one fourth being humans and the other one fourth Fae, dragons, and some vampires. The school is on neutral grounds, so there should be no fighting between species and the humans can’t know about our existence, only those with human mates know about us. All day my wolf had been pacing around in my head giving me a headache. But now he was pacing more. ‘Would you please stop pacing. You’re giving me a headache,’ I growled at my wolf, only for him to growl back. ‘What is wrong with you?’ I asked my wolf. ‘I don’t know. I just know something is about to change,' my wolf said. Not long after, the most intoxicating scent of roses and peonies filled my nose. I turned and saw the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. Her hair is long, wavy, and as black as midnight. Her eyes are a startling shade of silver blue. ‘Mate. Mate’ my wolf howled in my head and i went completely still. I always said I didn't want a mate. That mates were a weakness to an Alpha. 'Mate is not a weakness. Mate is perfect' my wolf purred. 'Did you just purr?' I asked my wolf. 'For her, I'll pur, bark, and even play dead,' my wolf said, and I laughed, but covered it up quickly with a cough which made Asher look at me with a raised eyebrow. She walks closer to where I am, and I watched as her hips slightly sway. “Hello, sir. My name is Jousett Vazquez. I’m the new student,” she said softly. Her voice was like music to my ear and I could see my wolf in my head wagging his tail. I looked at her for a few seconds before clearing my throat. “Hello, Jousett. I’m Kyle, the substitute teacher and this is Asher, my friend and helper,” I said. “It’s good to meet you both,” she smiled, and my heart skipped a beat. “So, Jousett, where did you go to school before?” Asher asked. “I came from that high school that burned down,” she said, and I arched an eyebrow. I have heard about that school. “Willow high school?” I asked. She looked at me in the eyes and I felt my breath hitch. “Y-yes sir, and no, I’m not the one who set it on fire,” she said, making me arch an eyebrow. “Why would you say that?” I asked, wondering why she would say that. “Because everyone seems to think that I did it. At least that’s what I have heard most of the day,” she said, and I growled lowly before clearing my throat to cover it up. ‘Are you alright there Alpha?’ Asher asked through the link. ‘Yeah,’ I replied through the link. “Alright, how about we start with stretching everyone. Today we’re playing lacrosse,” Asher announces. Most of the girls groaned. “I don’t want to break a nail,” Ashley, one of my pack members said, and I rolled my eyes. I watched as everyone stretched, especially my mate. My wolf continued to wag his tail in my head, completely smitten with her already. I took in her body. She has a flat stomach, full perky breast, a C cup, maybe a double C. Her ass is round and firm. Once everyone had stretched, we headed outside. We gave them helmets and the lacrosse stick and I realized my mate was the only female willing to play lacrosse. “Jousett” I called as I walked towards her, seeing some of the males smirking and whispering as they looked at her. “The goal is to pass the ball between your teammates and shoot the ball into the opponent’s net. The ball must be kept in constant motion, and only the goalies can touch the ball with their hands,” I told her, and she nodded. “I understand, sir,” she said, and I felt a delicious chill run down my spine at her calling me ‘sir’. I nodded and stepped back as they started choosing teams, and obviously she was left last because she’s a female, but there was a small smirk on her face and Asher arched an eyebrow. The game began and during the game I watched how she moved, but none of the guys passed the ball to her even when she was free. Then, in one, the ball was being passed to Jerry, and she intercepted it, grabbing the ball with her stick. She did a flip, avoided being tackled, and scored the point for her team. “When- How- how did you do that?” Jerry asked. I could tell he was angry with her intercepting but at the same time impressed. “Back in my old school I was the captain of the lacrosse team,” she said with a shrug. “But that move that’s not something you learn in lacrosse,” Andy said. “No, that’s called parkour,” she replied and I smirked. ‘That’s our mate,’ my wolf, Alister, said proudly. ‘Did she just say parkour?’ Asher asked through the link. ‘Yup’ I said. ‘That’s a tough and dangerous sport. Not many do it,’ Asher said. ‘I know,’ I said, and continued watching as, this time, her teammates started passing the ball to her. Suddenly, Mikael, a big wolf from the opposite team, ran into my mate while hitting her with the lacrosse stick, which was totally legal. I heard her scream, which made my heart stop. A roar left my lips and I ran towards her. I heard maybe her shoulder or something broke. “Jousett, don’t move. Where does it hurt?” I asked as she laid there, panting slightly. It took her a few seconds before she looked at me. “I’m okay. Nothing hurts; I was just caught off guard,” she said, slowly sitting up. “Don’t move. I know I heard something pop or break,” I said as I slowly and gently touched her shoulders and down her back. “Does this hurt?” I asked. “No,” she replied. “Are you sure?” I asked. “Yes sir,” she replied, and I helped her up only for her to gasp again when she felt the sparks. I quickly moved my hand, cursing myself mentally, knowing I accidentally triggered the mate bond between us. “I’m alright, Mr. Kyle,” she assured me. ‘Alpha, I heard something snap’ Asher said through the link. ‘I know. I did too. I linked back. “Jousett, I know you said you’re fine, but we want to make sure. That was a hard hit that you took. Please go to the clinic and get checked out,” I said. She looked like she was going to argue but decided against it. “Okay,” she said. “Good girl,” I said, making the tips of her ears turn red. ‘Alpha, is she… our Luna?’ Asher finally asked. ‘Yes, she’s our Luna’ I said truthfully. There was no reason to hide that she’s my mate. Sooner or later everyone is going to find out. ‘I want you to go with her, Asher, and make sure she’s okay’ I linked my Beta. ‘Yes, alpha’ Asher said and left with her.
