Leonidas collapsed beside Brooke, and both of them laid naked on the mattress, catching their breaths. Brooke curled into his side, and he held her close against him as he traced gentle circles on her shoulder.
“That was…amazing…” she sighed breathlessly.
“I couldn’t agree more,” he grinned.
“Where did you pick up that trick with the strawberries?” she asked with a giggle.
“I completely improvised,” he shrugged. “But it seemed to have the desired effect.”
She rolled over onto her stomach, lifting her head to meet his gaze.
