The ice cream vendor looked at Leonidas like he was insane.
“You want each ingredient in a separate cup, and you don’t want any ice cream?”
“Correct,” Leonidas nodded. “And please hurry.”
The vendor gave him an odd look, but he didn’t press any further. Once he fulfilled the order, he placed them in a small bag and passed them over the counter to Leonidas.
“Have a good night,” the vendor said, seemingly glad to get him away from his stall.
“Oh, I will,” Leonidas answered, unable to suppress the grin on his face.
He quickly made his way back to the room, unlocking the door quickly to go inside.
“How are you feeling?” he asked, glancing down at the pizza boxes. He was pleased to see that three additional slices had gone missing while he was out.
