VICTORIA'S REVENGE

EPISODE 6: VICTORIA’S REVENGE Peace never lasts in the Moretti house. It started with a letter. Elena found it on the doorstep Monday morning. No stamp. No return address. Just her name in fancy handwriting. Inside: One photo. Luca and Victoria. 6 months ago. On a beach. Kissing. On the back: “He was mine first. He’ll be mine again. - V” Elena’s hands shook. She didn’t show Luca. Not yet. --- That same day, Milo didn’t come home from school. 3:15pm. The nanny called. “Miss, the school says a woman picked him up. Said she was Auntie Victoria.” Elena dropped the phone. “WHAT?” Luca was in a meeting 40 minutes away. She called him anyway. “Luca! They took Milo!” His voice went ice cold. “Where are you? I’m coming.” By the time Luca got home, Mrs. Hale had already called the police. The lawyers. The security team. “She can’t do this,” Luca said. Pacing. “We have joint custody. She needs my permission.” “Apparently she doesn’t care,” Elena said. Tears streaming. “It’s my fault. I should have picked him up.” “Don’t.” Luca grabbed her shoulders. “This is Victoria. Not you.” His phone rang. Unknown number. He answered. Put it on speaker. “Luca, darling.” Victoria’s voice. Sweet. Evil. “Miss me?” “Where is he?” Luca growled. “Milo’s fine. He’s with me. Having ice cream.” She laughed. “I just wanted to remind you what you’re giving up. For her.” Elena stepped forward. “Give me my son.” “Oh, the nanny.” Victoria purred. “You sound stressed, sweetie. Maybe you shouldn’t have stolen someone else’s husband.” “I’m not—” “You’re nothing.” Click. Luca threw the phone across the room. “I’m calling every cop I know.” --- They found Victoria at her penthouse. 6 hours later. Milo was asleep on the couch, stuffed bear in hand. Safe. Victoria was drinking wine. In a silk robe. Like she was hosting a party. “Ah. The happy family.” She smiled. “He fell asleep. Kids need their naps.” Luca didn’t say a word. Just walked in, picked up Milo, and checked him. Breathing. Warm. Okay. Elena ran in and took him. Crying into his hair. “Baby. Baby I’m so sorry.” Milo stirred. “Mommy?” “I’m here. I’m here.” Victoria sipped her wine. “You’re welcome. I was just babysitting.” Luca turned. His face was blank. The CEO mask. The dangerous one. “You kidnapped my son.” “I exercised my parental rights.” Victoria shrugged. “Joint custody, remember?” “This isn’t over,” Luca said. “Oh, it’s just beginning.” Victoria looked at Elena. “You think he loves you? He’ll get bored. He always does. And when he does, I’ll be here.” Elena held Milo tighter. Security escorted them out. In the car, no one spoke. Milo slept between them again. At home, Luca locked every door. Tripled security. Then he went to his office and didn’t come out for 12 hours. Elena didn’t sleep. At 3am she knocked on his office door. “Come in.” Luca looked destroyed. Tie off. Hair a mess. Papers everywhere. “She did it to hurt you,” Luca said quietly. “Not Milo. Me.” Elena sat across from him. “I’m scared, Luca.” “I know.” He reached across the desk. Took her hand. “I’m scared too.” “She’s not going to stop.” “No.” Luca’s jaw ticked. “But neither am I.” He stood. Came around the desk. Pulled Elena up. “I’m so sorry,” he whispered into her hair. “For bringing you into this. For her.” “It’s not your fault.” “It is.” He pulled back. Looked at her. “But I’m going to end it. Today.” “How?” Luca’s eyes were dark. “The way Morettis end things. Permanently.” --- The next morning, Luca called a press conference. Elena watched from home, Milo on her lap. Luca stood at the podium. No suit jacket. No smile. “My name is Luca Moretti. And I’m here to tell the truth.” Cameras flashed. “5 years ago I had a relationship with Elena Rose. We have a son, Milo. 3 months ago I found out. We signed a contract to protect him. That contract is over.” He paused. “Yesterday, my ex-wife Victoria Moretti kidnapped our son. She is being charged with custodial interference. Our divorce was finalized last week. We have nothing to do with each other.” More flashes. “I am not in a contract with Elena. I am in love with her. With our son. And I will do anything to protect them.” He walked off. The internet exploded. #MorettiConfession #TeamElena #VictoriaExposed --- Victoria called 10 minutes later. Screaming. “You ruined me!” “You did that to yourself,” Luca said calmly. “Don’t contact us again. Or I’ll make sure you never see another dime of Moretti money.” Click. She never called again. --- That night, Luca came home early. Elena was in the kitchen making dinner. Normal dinner. Pasta. Luca wrapped his arms around her from behind. “You okay?” “Yeah.” Elena leaned back into him. “Are you?” “I told the world I love you.” He kissed her neck. “Best decision I ever made.” Milo ran in. “Did Daddy win?” Luca picked him up. “Yeah buddy. Daddy won.” “Because of Mommy?” “Because of both of you.” --- A week later, the charges were dropped. Victoria fled to Europe. The board reinstated Luca as CEO. The press moved on to the next scandal. And the Moretti house was quiet again. No more contracts. No more lies. No more Victoria. Just them. --- One month later. Luca proposed. Not with a contract. With a ring. And Milo holding it. “Elena Rose, will you marry me? For real this time?” Elena cried. “Yes.” Milo cheered. “I’m gonna be a ring bearer!” That night, Luca tucked them both in. Elena looked at him. “We made it.” Luca smiled. Tired. Happy. Real. “We did.” No more running. No more hiding. No more revenge. Just a family. Finally.
