“And, just how do you decide who makes the cut?” I asked, my tone sounding far calmer to my ear despite the blood boiling in my veins. Claudia rolled her eyes, not even bothering to look at me. She may not have thought I was worth her time, but I was sure as heck gonna make sure she paid attention from this point forward.
