I hadn’t seen that one coming. Especially not from Tamryn.
“How?” Though it wasn’t the only question I had, it was the one that first popped out.
“My father—” She levelled a glare at Claudia, who resumed her Slinky-like pose, the chair suddenly part of her again. It wasn’t nearly as awkward as it sounds unless you took the sputtering sounds that exited her mouth into consideration, and then it just became weird.
