Then, soon Kani entered into his fifth standard. He was in the 5B section at the beginning. In the event of the sports meet to be in school, there were various games conducted for the students. And all of us enthusiastically participate in those games. Kani took part in a game called 'cricket ball throw'. The winner of the game will be the one who throws the ball to a long distance. The final battle was held between Kani and a student named, Shabareesh. And at that time, Kani's parents came to the school for picking him up on the family tour and they enjoyed Kani's performance thoroughly. The battle lasted for more than 30 minutes. Honestly, Kani must be declared as the winner. The measurements for his throws were incorrect. One of the staff, who was present over there supported Kani. But this couldn't help Kani win the game, because, Shabareesh was the son of one of the teachers of the school, whose influence played a huge role in declaring Shabareesh as the winner. This was one of the first disappointment that Kani faced in his life.
One day, the neighboring class teacher came to the class and she asked for a student from 5B class to come to her 5C class. Kani raised his hands that he was willing to come. His class teacher of 5B initially refused but accepted it later on. Kani then departed to 5C. He was given a warm welcome in the class. His 5C class teacher, Mrs. Anandhi made him sit near to Vishvesh Thangamani, who was the topper of the class. Soon, they become close to each other. The Anandhi teacher handled Tamil subject for them and she used to make the students enjoy the class by giving various tasks and she would make the students learn poetry with several cine music compositions and tunes. Also, there was another teacher named Mrs. Sri Latha, who was a very strict maths teacher. She used to scold students if they misbehave, then and there. But Vishvesh was her favorite student and he never got a scolding from her. The following incidents can serve as the best examples of this. One day, as Kani was writing in his maths note, he wrote the sums in a congested way. This was noticed by the teacher and she scolded by saying, 'Leave one line in the middle and do man'. This seemed to be like poetry for Vishvesh and he immediately responded by singing it once more. This made the whole class burst out into laughter, along with the teacher. Another day, there was maths exams in the school. Students were preparing for the exams sincerely. But Vishvesh prepared for computer science exams instead of maths. He hardly had only 10 minutes for preparation but to everyone's surprise, he secured the highest total in the class. This is the reason why Vishvesh became the teacher's favorite.
One day, Kani invited Vishvesh to his house for which Vishvesh agreed. Kani informed his mother and he went in his cycle to pick up him to his home. But Vishvesh never turned up. Kani waited for hours and he returned to his home with a slight disappointment. The very next day, Kani enquired Vishvesh about this. But Vishvesh told that it was his mother who refused him to go and the reason for that was Kani's house wouldn't be much bigger. This not only shocked Kani but also made him keep away quite a distance while speaking with Vishvesh. Kani also understood the reality of life, "And this too shall pass away", after this incident.
People used to come, stay, and leave just like that. But the concern for them that we give matters! When someone walks out of your life, let them. There's no use in wasting your time on people who leave you. What you make yourself and your future is no longer tied to them. Yeah, you may miss them. But remember that you weren't the one who gave up. Likewise, some people who may leave you. But that's not the end of your story. It's only that the end of their part in your story.
