Haiden ran away from her grandma and roam the area. He followed the path towards the wilderness. He continued following the path while picking up stones. It was then that he saw a shorter and different trek and traveled to it to get to the woods. He got to an entirely new place, the sky was blue and gray. The wind was howling and the entire place looks beautiful. He saw a seesaw and a swing nearby a well and rushed to it. Haiden then sat on the swing and swaying it while he rested for the meantime. He looks pale, eyes were gloomy, malnourished body and filled with sweat. Haiden roams his sight around, his face was pure and sweet, much like a kid who deserted himself from playing with others, a loner. Haiden's parents were so strict that even playing outside their house wasn't allowed for him, he uses to have few friends, and all of them were his friends that knew while at school. He was then bored playing with the swing and decided to play with the seesaw. He stood and went to the seesaw and ride one of its poles. He just plays with the seesaw even though he was alone, holding the lever of the seesaw and using his feet to go up and down. Dust then blocked his eyesight and he immediately rubs his eyes to take away the dust. While rubbing his eyes, he felt that the seesaw was going up and down. Up and down. Up and down. He heard someone giggled. He finished rubbing the dust away from his eyes and widened his sight once again. There's no one. The seesaw wasn't moving, he thought he was just imagining things and wiped his sweat using his shirt. He noticed that the seesaw was going up and down again. Up and down. Up and down. Up and down. Someone chuckled. A chuckle coming from a kid, he knew it, the voice must be coming from a kid, a kid within his age. Up and down, up and down. Haiden didn't look up and just nodding down his head. He knew it, that he wasn't imagining things. Someone is playing with him, riding the other pole of the seesaw. He slowly peeked at the kid who sat on the pole. He then widened his eyes and look up at the kid who was playing with him. The kid's eyes were dark, wounds were seen everywhere in his body, a stab wound at his head, and dark marks all over his hands and feet. Haiden was frightened and immediately closed his eyes. The seesaw stopped going up and down. He heard footsteps as the kid who was walking towards him pressed the dried leaves fallen from the trees. "Hi" The strange kid greeted him. He opened his eyes again and saw that the kid who greeted him was not the scary boy he had seen earlier. The boy who was with him wore a t-shirt and pants the same as the boy he saw earlier but he wasn't wounded and so Haiden befriended him. "Hello" Haiden replied. After few introductions, the boys then played. They played hide and seek, the seesaw, and picking up many stones that they piled. After they had piled stones, Haiden and Jacob then threw the stones to the well. The sun is going down. Haiden then said goodbye to his new friend and walked back home, he thought of following back the path as he remembered and try to get back home immediately before the sun goes down completely. He started walking away just when he thought of inviting Jacob to accompany him so that his friend would know where he lived. He looked back and saw that Jacob wasn't there anymore. He was sad knowing that Jacob wasn't there anymore and started walking back again to get home. He got out from the woods and was on the same path as he trekked earlier. He followed it and saw the hill filled with rocks again and was relieved knowing that he wasn't missing the right track, he continued walking and got atop the hill, he roams his sight and saw that their house wasn't there anymore. He was sad and was afraid, he saw that the sun was about to go down completely. From afar, he saw a gigantic dark ghost entity coming straight ahead of him, as he could perceive, the monster who was rushing towards him got demon horns, no eyes, and got its terrifying mouth smiling. He was scared, his whole body was petrified. He gripped himself off from his fear and started running away. He decided on going back to his friend Jacob to ask for help. He runs and saw that the monster was following him. As the monster got closer to him, he could discern that it was laughing in a scary and demonic deep loud voice. He was near his target destination, he ran faster as he could just when he reach the place where the swing and seesaw were used to be placed, he tipped his right foot on a big rock that made him drop on the ground. He saw the monster, so near, not so far away from him. He cried and covered his ear, closed his eyes. The monster landed a few meters away from him. He heard footsteps, he curled his body up and tried not to peak at the entity. Thud. Thud. Thud. Thud. The monster's steps were audible as loud as someone tried to bang himself on a wall with strong force. The footsteps stopped. The monster was just right behind him now. He felt that it was about to do something to him. He shouted in fear. "Haiden?" He heard as some soft and small hands tapped him from his back. He heard the voice. It was from Jacob. His friend. He immediately opened his eyes. And a demon-looking monster was gazing at him revealing its creepy face and sharp-looking horns and nails. "Haiden?" He heard from afar. It was from Jacob his friend. The monster who was right in front of him a moment ago got vanished before Jacob could reach the area. Jacob then rushed to him and asked him why he was terrified. He explained and his friend just laugh off his story and told him that it wasn't a bad joke. Haiden then asked for assistance from his friend to accompany him going back home. "Please accompany me, Jacob, I want to go back home, grandma would be angry with me if I won't go home now." Jacob then agreed. Haiden started walking but Jacob wasn't following him. "Where are you going Haiden?" Jacob asked. Haiden replied, "going back home?" "There's no one eye living there" Jacob replied. Haiden was confused about what his friend told him. "Maybe you are the kid that the grandma was looking for earlier." Come on! This is the path. Haiden who was confused didn't mutter any words to reply to what Jacob told him and followed his friend to get back home. After a few minutes of walking, Haiden then saw their house, back to the area he used to identify. He remembered this place. He remembered the old wooden one-story house of her grandma surrounded by the forest. His grandma was perceivable from afar as the light coming from outside revealed his grandma's shadow. He was happy and thanked Jacob. Jacob just smiled at him and didn't answer him. He then took Jacob with him and got near the house. "Grandma! I'm home" he shouted. His grandma then opened the door and greeted his grandson. "Welcome back, did you enjoy roaming around the place?" The grandma asked. "Yes grandma, I have met a friend. He is a kid, he's Jacob." Haiden replied as he looks back to introduce Jacob but sees no one around. "Oh my boy, you are alone here, there's no other kid in the village than you." The grandma replied. The old woman then takes her grandson inside the house to eat the newly cooked food. They started eating and finished up quickly. The child then said sorry to her grandmother for going home late. "Oh my boy, you don't need to be sorry. You didn't come late, you come back sooner than I expected." The grandmother replied as she does the dishes. The boy then looked at the clock on the ceiling. 2:30 P.M It was still early in the afternoon.
