Arc 4 - Chapter 1: Sign of Rebirth

"Doctor, we found this."

"What is that Higeki ?"

"The children said they found this in a pond when they were outside with the member of the tribe."

"This is... a petal."

"No, it not just any petal, this is the proof that he is purifying the air and the water as one of the properties of water."

"Higeki, he is purifying this planet ? But that flower, does it need heat ?"

"... Omega, you mentioned this world doesn't have god or thaumaturgy right ?"

"Yes... i see."

Higeki is the god of water and the god of music, god can't exist on Altoris because god is the manifestation of faith and Altoris is a faithless world. So the blue star form is the weakened form Higeki and through some method he gained some of his power back... Harr Organization, they believe in him and listen to his guidance. After that war they must spread their faith through the city. This could be our way to rekindle the fire in people's heart or a way to change this world without war, faith must be created within the haven. This was impossible but now with Orcress's knowledge and the device that Omega give me, i can be the vessal for this power of faith and send these power to the blue star. With the faith of every people on this planet, Higeki can be rebirth.

"Then what will happen to you ?"

"I don't know but the time is here, we need to capture this moment and don't let it escape our grasp."

Faith and believe come from miracle, people's faith can be restored if a miracle is performed in the name of the one who was being worshipped. A simple action like healing wound without any medical support, a simple teaching and something changed since the day that i learned the truth about WORLD, now i can use simple thaumaturgy. A simple act of healing without any medicine, a way to recover any wound without the a taste of bitterness, this power is granted by him so it is not like i am tricking someone else with false belief. And that is the moment faith bloom in the haven, the faith for a new god, the god of music, the god of water, the god of harmony. A clash of faith will happen but the city lose the most powerful weapon that they have, something they always use to suppress people.

"Orcress, how do you feel ?"

"I was out but for how long."

"A day perhap. You need to rest after all that crisis afterall."

"That slap was painful... but he was right, that is the wake up call i need, i saw the world they paint, i used the city to view that world of perfection. And in that moment i forgot the truth beyond the wall, six months and a slap, that may seem nothing to you but to me, that changed everything."

"Six months and pain of losing an arm changed the way i see people. I calculate everything but i forgot one factor, the bond i form with them, they will protect me and the moment i lost my arm they will lose control."

"So what is your plan now ?"

"Gathering our force again, sharpen our blades and prepare for another war. This time, there will be nothing can stop us and this time we will have a saint stand by our side."

The people from the city as always being obnoxious and annoying and always consider themselves as superior being. All kind of ornaments on their hairs and face, all kind of accessories on their clothing, sometime i have to think they are human or glorified ornaments for the city. And their behaviour... their behaviour are just the worst, there are brats in the haven but at least they did that as a joke and they are good children but these people are adults but acting like a spoiled ill-tempered brat. They speak like they never have a chance to speak before and try to show all their ornaments, they have to show all their riches meanwhile we can do that but we choose not to. All that metal is used to create invention that change our life and ready for a new war.

"Like i said, search somewhere else, we have nothing to do with the Conductor or his current location. And if you let someone in and kidnap him, you are not doing a good job in keeping someone safe, blame yourself."

"We shall leave but if we found any trace of the Conductor connected to the haven then a war you shall have."

"So the Conductor is missing... you should learn how to keep your information hidden."

They leave but with this acting, it should borrow us sometime since the city leaders have to expand their search for their only tool to control people. The moment i walk inside and the moment they leave, the timing can't be more precise, a wind carry pollen and petal and their face reflect the emotion i like and that is pure terror. It is just a wind but with all these faith, what will happen when my creator return to his complete form, song will be sung, flower will bloom and for the first time, we can breath without mask. Imagine the beauty of the world when he has enough power to break free from that cage, his sacred descent shall wash away chaos, reverse cold to warm, reverse darkness and light. The more i think, the more i can't wait for the day he returns and finally, everyone on this world can live in a place that deserve to be called as a world. A proper world.

"The glorious color of the world. In my mind is the color of fantasy, a beautiful where we can see life return to this world, my dear blue star, breaking the ice and banish the cold."

Never fall for temptation of power and never let anyone control me for their personal gain, i brought faith to the haven but in my head and in my mind, i remind myself, never fall for temptation of power. Spreading faith and show them the proof that our faith strengthening the god of music and harmony, the blue star of Higeki, that doesn't matter, as long as he can hear our voice and his power is recovering, nothing else is matter. Feeling the color of a new world and a beautiful illustration of a beautiful reality, the sign of his return will be marked by the color of nature.

"So you have no problem with the fact that i am replacing you with someone else ?"

"I am tired of carrying those wishes. And it's not my wishes to begin with, the wishes of those who live in this world. And as the way i am created, i must hear all those wishes. Maybe this time, replacing me with some true god will stop those voices."

"Then the slum and the heaven will believe in god of music and harmony and the saviour along with his belief in perfection will be erased."

"I will do what is considered as the best for everyone in this world. Beside, being worshipped doesn't have any meaning to me, it doesn't increase my power, why do i need to care about such thing ?"

"Alright then, the main belief of this world will be the god of music and harmony."

"I want to meet this person, this god of music and harmony too but i know that blue star never fade, maybe, he is watching us."

"Then that would be very romantic."

For the first time i feel like someone who i can consider as a friend even we were out for each other blood a few months ago. A man who desperate to escape and find his freedom, maybe that war isn't a failure at all, the kid in the haven like to play with him and he even wears clothing like everyone in the haven. Alermond and Alfred are still angry but they know if they speak, everything in this haven will crumble and maybe they like this new changes. The conductor who send fear to everyone's heart now walking around the haven, playing with children and enjoy his lifetime that was wasted during his youth. Maybe not the world is being reborn but it is also Orcress, he is being rebirth, but how did he break his program that was designed for him to become a perfect being. But Omega figure that out long ago like he knows everything in this world.

"Orcress simply gave up his heart."

"What do you mean ?"

"I mean that to break free from the program, he gave up his immortality."

"So how long does he have left ?"

"With all that pressure of time catching to him..."

"The most he can have is twenty years."

"Alermond."

"If the god of music and harmony rebirth then i could be less depend on his mercy."

"So twenty years... then i will make that the best twenty years of my life."

Twenty years... that is a long time but actually, that is really short, everyday is ticking slowly drain his existance away but maybe he see it doesn't like how i see it. He playing with children, helping adult with every task that he was asked, he even use his thaumaturgy in the name of god of music and harmony, maybe that change him, maybe that show him he can live like a normal person. He gave up his immortality for this life then should i doubt him that he will stab us in the back... maybe i should believe more people like how i trust Harr and Jbys. He sacrifice so much then why would he betray us. He can just show himself when that man appear in front of the gate. Maybe i should trust him twenty years is a short time and everyone should have the right to enjoy that amount of time.
