Echidna A woman serpentine monster, offspring of Phorycs and Ceto. Sister of the Graeae and the Gorgons. Textual assets are Apollodorus’s Library (2.1.2, 2.3.1, 2.Five.11, three.5.Eight, Epitome 1.1) and Hesiod’s Theogony (295– 332). Alternately, her dad and mom are given as Gaia and Tartarus. In Hesiod’s Theogony, Echidna is a component beguiling, beautiful lady and component big snake, immortal and ageless. She eats uncooked flesh and lives in a cave deep in the earth in Arima.
