A blinding light clouded my vision. I immediately shut my eyes to the bright light. I tried again to slowly open my eyes for a second time. This time I could fully open them. It took me a few minutes to let my eyes adjust to the fluorescent lights. Now I was able to see my surrounding. I could see that I was in a hospital room. A hospital room that seemed very familiar.
