I was running through the woods, the wind blowing through my fur when I stopped to take a drink from the lake , suddenly I heard a howl from across the lake, I looked up and saw the biggest wolf I have ever seen..... UMFF I opened my eyes and fell to the floor as my horrid twin sister decided to shove me out of bed. Sierra- hey get out of bed lazy, mum and day have gone away to help with pack business again and I need food. Saphire- ok ok I'm up I am the alphas eldest daughter of his two twin daughters, Sierra is my sister she is 2 mins younger than me but it still the golden child to everyone in the pack, although I am next in line for alpha she always gets her way , I plan to wait until we turn 18 and I become the alpha to send her travelling to find her mate so I can get some peace and quiet which is just 2 days away , although hopefully with our birthday being on the moon festival and our pack being the hosts this year maybe I'll get lucky and she can find her mate there and leave me alone, our parents are alpha and luna of the silver mountain pack, the largest, strongest and most evolved pack in the world, my family in particular tend to have special abilities due to my mother being a descendant of the moon godess and my father being half demon we evolve some gifts once we come of age and have our first shift. Sierra- can we have pancakes, I'm really feeling them this morning. Saphire- ok fine but no using all of the nutella this time you know we need to save some for when the other alphas arrive tomorrow to help us prepare for the moon festival. Sierra- I'm really looking forward to it do you think we will find our mates? I bet mine will be handsome and muscley with a cuddle bear nature what about you? Saphire- I dont know I havent really thought about it, whatever happens happens, I'm a strong alpha born i dont particularly need a man in my life to distract me from my duties. Sierra- always the cynic, do you not want to feel loved and be looked after for rest of your life? Saphire- I'm not saying I dont want one, I'm just saying i will not have a mate tell me how to live my life when they know nothing about me. Sierra- I look forward to getting everything I've ever wanted and deserve as your the next alpha doesn't leave anything else for me does it? Saphire- well I'm the eldest that's how it works plus if your mate is an alpha you get to be a luna in some way so who cares we will find out. We both got dressed and walked to the alpha office so we can talk with the current beta ( collin) and gamma( jason) about the security for the moon festival, sierra never likes these meeting organisation isbt her thing unless it organizing a date to get her hair done. Sierra- I'm gunna leave you guys to it I've got to go and buy a dress for the festival. Jason- dont you have enough dresses that you havent worn out yet? Sierra- I have got 1 dress I haven't worn yet but that's for the evening of the moon festival, I need one for the morning, incase I meet my mate earlier in the day. Collin- I will never understand how women have so much clothing, I mean I got some Jean's and few tops and I'm all good. Sierra- I know you are the beta but my god are you stupid no wonder you havent found your mate yet. Sierra walked out and we continued with our security plans, after dining the security plans I told the guys to go for a run and blow off some steam since the next few days were going to be busy. "Phone buzzing" Saphire- hey dad , you and mum enjoying the trip? Alpha tyler/dad- yeah been nice to get out for a bit, listen baby we have been talking and thinking maybe as it's your birthday and you'll be turning 18 in a couple of days we are going to move up you alpha ceremony to the night of the moon festival. Saphire- oh my god dad really? What made you come to this decision I mean I havent even got a mate to speak of yet. Alpha Tyler/dad- well we have really enjoyed this trip and we think you are ready to become alpha , you already are pretty much. Saphire- thankyou dad I will not let you down Alpha tyler/dad- I know baby, we will be home tomorrow night to make the announcement "End phone call" I run downstairs to where the warriors are training and find my best friend Jennifer who Is the mate to our strongest and best warrior James, Saphire- hey Jennifer, guess what? Jennifer- what is it you scared the crap out of me, are you ok? saphire- yeah I'm more than ok I'm becoming alpha on the day of the ball so when I find my mate we can merge packs instantly, isnt that great? Jennifer- oh my god that's amazing I'm so happy for you. she hugs me and we chat about how we think maybe atleast me pr sierra will find a mate at the ball.
