REUNION

Reo and Travis were being treated for their wounds that they sustained when Ahiga saved Shael from them and were groaning because of the pain when the young master stomped in with anger

"You both, is true that you sent a messenger to my personal maid using my name?" he asked fuming hard

"I think you should ask about our health first, can't you see that we are being treated for injuries?" Reo replied and he scoffed

"Why were both of you injured at the same time? from what I know you both detest sports because you are both afraid of sustaining injuries so explain to me right now why you sent that message and you came back wounded" he growled at them

"Well it was Reo's idea to test her out, so we decided to have some fun with her and invited her to the mountains using your name" Travis revealed

"You decided to do what?" he asked and his eyes were now as red as coal

"Calm down, you were the one that insisted that you had nothing going on for her when we asked to confirm and be sure, why will you be mad over us playing with some maid?" Reo stated unapologetically and it earned him some punch from the young master immediately

He could now understand why they were asking him the other day if he had any feelings for her but he turned them down and lied because he has to protect her from his father so what happened to his previous maid wouldn't happen to her but it seems he still failed to protect her after all.

"So what did you despicable beings do with her?" he asked with his eyes laced with tears

"We couldn't even do anything, gosh she fought so hard and screamed so loud that someone from the forest finally heard and came to her rescue, we are in this state thanks to her and her savior" Reo replied touching his swollen cheeks

"do you want me to make the cheeks more swollen? why are you talking as if you did something right?" he yelled at him and Reo rolled his eyes

"Why are you getting this angry over some petty maid?" Reo stated but that earned him a punch on the said swollen cheeks

"Why are you hitting me?" he groaned in pain and Travis quickly covered his own cheeks before he gets beaten by the young master

"Because of the said petty maid, even if she's a maid, she's still a human not an animal you can decide to have your way with just because you feel like it, you are just some animals that needed to be taught lessons" he growled back at them

"Do you think you have the right to talk to us like this over someone like her? we are wealthy too" Reo stated without remorse

"Should I drag this issue out so you can know who is more influential? Should I tell my father that you used my name to call out his maid so you can both have your ways with her? should I inform him that you were the reason she disappeared? do you want to try me?" he asked with his eyes spitting fire

"You don't have to go that far" Travis said with fear in his eyes

"I don't have anything to say to you for now, I just want to look for her first" he said before stomping out of the room angrily

"I told you this was a bad idea but you were bent on satisfying your animalistic urge" Travis whined to Reo who yelled at him

"Just keep your mouth shut, did I force you to come along? you also wanted to have a taste so why blame me?" Reo growled back at him and he had his mouth shut immediately

The young master lied to his father that Shael seems to have been kidn*pped when he sent her on an errand to cover up for his friends and the governor sent men out to look for her everywhere in the forest, it was there they met Adahy who was hunting and they explained to him about the lady in case he has seen her but he told them he haven't. When he found out that Ahiga brought the said girl home, he was disturbed because he doesn't want anything to do with the nobles, he knows how troublesome they can be and how they can ruin his works of many years, he also doesn't want his quiet life to be disturbed because he knows he might be accused of k********g her when she was sent on the said errands

He tossed all night thinking about how to go to the governor and tell him that he has seen the maid he was looking for but he also didn't want to release her because of the ordeal she went through, he understands that whenever she sees those who assaulted her, she will be in fear and pains, that would be a bad memory she has to live with and he's not sure if he's ready to put her through something that horrible considering the fact that she begged to be saved.

After thinking it through, he decided to send her far away instead, he concluded that he will get her some money and some food to prepare for the journey, he will take her to another town himself and help her settle down there so she can start afresh, that will be a better option than sending her back to where she will live in pain her whole life

He woke up to see her and Ahiga laughing over the Erhu he got for her when they went back to the market to sell the meat the previous evening, he had questioned him about why he got one but he just smiled and said it's a present for someone, he could now understand that it was a present for her

"You know how to play it?" he asked looking at her fix the strings and positioned herself to play it

"Of course, I have been playing this all my life, I couldn't play it for sometime because I didn't have uit available but now that I see it, I can't wait to play it" she said with a smile

"What song do you want to play the most?" he asked sitting beside her

"Something that reminds me of childhood? I think I want to stay in my childhood for a bit, I miss the feeling of it" she replied

"I can't wait to hear you play then" he said and motioned for her to start

Adahy was about going back inside the house when he heard her play, at first he thought the sound was familiar but when he turned to stay and hear her play the more, he knew the song she was playing and slowly walked up to her

"That song, where did you learn it from?" he asked and they both looked up to him

"Ah this? my uncle taught me back then, he always wanted me to play him the song wheneve he visits us so I really played the song a lot, although I don't know the whereabout of my uncle ever since my parents died, he just abandoned me" she said with a streak of tear flowing down her cheek

"You, are you Shael by chance?" he asked and she opened her mouth in surprise because she haven't told them her name ever since she stepped there

"How did you know my name?" she asked standing up and opened her mouth wider when it clicked

"By chance are you my uncle? Uncle Adahy?" she questioned and he slowly nodded his head

"How did we come to meet like this?" he said with tears falling down his face while Ahiga watched the scenario unfold in front of him in confusion
