He found he had forgotten how cold the winters could be in Missouri, Decker discovered, as well as how thoroughly the damp chill could creep into his bones. While he was getting everything settled, the weather continued fairly mild, as they arrived home in the summer. The heat had been bothersome, but that was bearable.
