CHAPTER SEVENTEEN ANNA Rowan and I didn't see each other for nearly two weeks after that. He texted nearly every day; I responded in kind. But I never initiated communication, unless it was about Emily and Alejo's wedding. I was being a coward. I was avoiding both the man I'd fallen in love with and my best friend.
