Dominic’s text last night confirmed my suspicion. It was easier to fight the known devil than the unknown.
A hell lot of things were in line and most importantly, Mia. I needed to protect her with everything I had. And for that, I wouldn’t think twice slaughtering anyone and everyone if her life was in danger.
But I knew better than to mindlessly create a bloodbath without an outcome.
I needed a strategy, a better plan.
So far no one bested me at my game.
But I was experienced enough not to let my pride be my downfall.
Most importantly I needed my brother beside me. For all I know the asshole was sticking his d**k somewhere warm and wet. When the numerous calls went into voicemail, I left few messages hoping he would reach out to me sooner.
