I had to deal with a f*****g deadline I didn’t like. Then, I had to deal with the obstinate woman who would not speak a goddamn word out of her treacherous mouth. And finally, a f*****g video showed up threatening us.
I wanted to strangle Nora right then until she understood what she got herself into.
I paced up and down the office for a minute before sat down fixing myself a drink. Fury and alcohol didn’t work very well for me in the past but I needed to take the edge off. Too many damn questions popped up in my head causing a tangled mess. I was in a stew.
