This was probably the longest night of my life and saddest morning I woke up to. Shame, guilt and fear ran through my veins as I struggled to breathe. I was glad that Sammy stayed with me for the night or else I didn’t know what I would have done. Despite my best efforts, Viktor was still mad and won’t even see me. Not that I can blame him.
Pushing myself from the bed, I wondered where Sammy had gone. She probably woke up before me and left for the hospital, I wondered. Unlocking the door, I found two guards positioned outside.
