Allara and Arzeo have been friends since childhood, a bond that stemmed from the friendship between their parents.

Years of growing up together had made one of them harbor feelings for the other. He remained silent, not daring to break the long-held label of "friendship."

Until a tragic event befell one of their parents, creating a desire that became both happiness and a sense of responsibility that couldn't be shaken off.

Prologue
"Ar, can we start from the beginning?" "I can't. You know I love Sanna," he replied firmly. His jaw tightened with a hateful glare. Arzeo was truly fed up with Allara's seemingly unyielding attitude. "You are sure?" "Of course, this is my choice" "But Ar-" "Stop Ra, how many times do I have to say it? I hate your current attitude!" "You've changed, Ar. You're not the Arzeo I knew!" "You're the one who's changed! The Allara I knew isn't like this!" "Me? Since when did I change? Look at me!" Allara looked at Arzeo with teary eyes. "LOOK!" Allara rolled her eyes down. "I never changed! In fact, you-" Allara lifted her face. Arzeo was stunned. His previously sad gaze now turned to disappointment. "You-" "YOU ARE THE ONE WHO CHANGED ARZEO" Allara continued shouting, venting the emotions she had been suppressing. "We've known each other since we were little. You should know. Here, who's changed?" Arzeo was silent, his mouth was only barely able to open his mouth. "You said I changed, right?" "Okay. From now on, I will close my eyes and ears. I will pretend not to know and pretend not to hear everything you do." Allara forced a smile, though it was faint, but she tried. Unfortunately, at the same time, tears fell without her permission. "Love can't be forced, right Arze? I believe that from you." "I give up. I hope we don't meet by any chance." "Be strangers as if we never knew each other. Thank you, Ar" Arzeo hoped Allara hadn't meant what she said last. He simply wanted her to stop chasing him—that was all. He didn't want things to become distant, the way she had suggested. Many say, 'the past is the winner' But for Allara, that's just nonsense. Because in truth, it's new people who will change everything.
