I'm sitting at Adrian's desk, combing over my emails and trying to make sense of the current budgets for the month. I never was good with math. That was Adrian's thing like all of this s**t. He was the one meant do do all of this. I almost felt cheated. It was not supposed to be like this. I am not one to b***h, but this was honestly beyond my capabilities.
It is just another subtle reminder, that I wad operating outside of my jurisdiction. I was a born and raised beta. I could take on the command of alpha. Just not the damned paperwork. Adrian had seen this early on and had saved me the headache of actually having to push papers in an office and took on more physical tasks to fulfill my duties.
I am just about ready to throw the laptop across the room. But a miracle happens...
