I've been stuck in a car with Joshua for the last several hours listening to him go on and on. Firstly, about how he never intended to hurt Riley and that he was only doing what was necessary to get information about the rogues.
Secondly, he had been working with the werewolf council for years now as a spy. he was well aware of the fact that Alex was working against them.
Lastly, he knew that Riley's life could be in danger from the beginning and chose to say nothing.
