Riley I am jolted awake as the car comes rolling to a stop. The sun is just breaking the skyline in the early morning hours. Taking in the scenery, it takes my mind a few seconds to register that we are actually at a roadside gas station. There's an endless stretch of road before us and behind us. A single solitary building in the middle of nowhere. Joshua gets out of the car without a word and goes through the motions of pumping gas into the tank.
