Vanessa Johnson has been through hell and back but that doesn't stop her from laughing at life in the face. There is a lot of things she despites, one of them being Kade Parker. Surely being forced to go camping is one thing, but sharing a room with her high schools top player is completely out of question.

Maybe a couple of hugs and kisses can change the way how they feel about each other?

"Aww, poor little player doesn't have anyone to hook up with for fifteen days!" I made a sad pouty face but inside I was dying of laughter.

"Actually I do," He said with a smirk as my eyes went wide.

"Are you gonna hook up with my sister? She's so young, oh my god! I swear to go if you do, I will personally chop your balls off and make you eat them, then I'll-"

"God no, I’m not a pedo, I meant you, i***t!" He said and I burst out laughing.

"Me hooking up with you? That's never gonna happen!"

"Oh yeah, you're too embarrassed that you're a bad kisser," He said challenging me.

"I'm a great kisser," I said.

"Yeah, sure you are...," He said with uncertainty.

"I am!"

"Then prove it!"

I wrapped my hands around his neck and pulled him closer towards me.

Chapter 1
"WE'RE GOING ON A TRIP IN OUR FAVORITE ROCKET SHIP, ZOOMING THROUGH THE SKY, LITTLE EINSTEINS!" I heard my sister's loud voice outside the door of my room. I groaned and covered my ears with my pillow seeing that this wasn’t the first time something like this occurred. This was my mom's horrific way of waking me up, by using my annoying little sister to sing me a song and let's just say her taste in music was completely bonkers. "SHUT UP BEFORE I MURDER EVERYONE IN THIS HOUSE!" I yelled in a tiresome tone at her but that didn't seem to stop her. And people ask me why I’m not a morning person... "CLIMB ABOARD GET READY TO EXPLORE-" "SHUT UP!" I yelled once more. I was getting more pissed every second. How could they ruin my beauty sleep like this? I thought sarcastically. It’s one thing to wake up early but to wake up feeling like you are in hell, well that’s another. "THERE'S SO MUCH TO FIND, LITTLE EINSTEI-" "THAT'S IT! I'M COMING FOR YOU!" I jumped out of my bed angrily and opened the door. I spotted my little sister running away from me as if her life depended on it. "I will get you and once I do, I'll feed you to the crocodiles!" I yelled after her. Every little kid has something they are afraid of and my sister just happens to be terrified of crocodiles. Ever since we went to the zoo for the first time, my sister freaked out when she saw a crocodile and she even said that it haunts her in her sleep, so I found it a perfect opportunity to use it to threaten her in case she does her usual sister-annoy-sister thing. I’m glad to know it works. It can teach people, especially my family, to not mess with me in the mornings. I don’t think anyone likes to be messed with in the mornings. I ran after her down the stairs and chased her around the house, I could feel her getting nervous since I was much faster than her two short legs. "Mommy help me!" She screamed and my mom’s head popped out of the kitchen. She grabbed Ally in her hands and shook her head at our silly games of catch. My mom placed Ally on the counter as she wiped the corners of her mouth which has some peanut butter. Ally loved peanut butter. My mom had black jet hair and light blue crystal eyes and Ally is lucky to look just like her. "Glad you are awake Vanessa! You have to start packing for the trip, we are leaving in two hours," She said as my eyes widened. Last time I checked today was Wednesday, or was it Saturday? "It's today?" I asked in disbelief. "Yep," I nodded and walked back up to my room. My family, well my dad, decided that it’ll be a great idea to go on this camping trip for fifteen days, he said something about connecting with nature and having fun but I doubt a day without wifi could be fun. For fifteen day we will stay in the wild. How can someone camp for so long? So many thoughts flooded my head. What if we die? Starve perhaps? Or what if our car breaks down? No warm shower, no wifi, no freshly made home food. But, on the other hand, there are insects, snakes, and possibly bears. Oh yeah and not to mention we will probably be sleeping on the ground! I'm so excited! Note the sarcasm... I decided to take a long shower since I will miss it dearly. When I got out, I looked in the mirror, I definitely changed a lot since last year. It’s probably the many gifts of hitting puberty. I was the only one in the family that has blonde hair since everyone including many of my grandparents and aunts have dark hair or completely black, I was born to stand out I guess. I grew out my blond hair, it was up to my belly button, but I was getting sick of it, maybe a little short cut before going back to school will spice things up? I sighed and blow dried my hair. When I was done, I started packing and one question remained in my head. How will I survive without wifi? I don't think I'll survive. I might just die of boredom on the second day if there isn't anything there to entertain me. I know that some people enjoy and love nature, I would have too if there were no such things as bugs. When I was done mentally complaining for the tenth time, I gave my bed one last long hug that lasted about twenty minutes and walked downstairs with my bags. "I'm ready!" I yelled out for my family to hear. I found my dad bringing the luggage in the car. He’s one tall man while my mom was short, but I think of myself as a lucky child to be born not too short and not too tall. "Need help?" I asked cheerfully, stretching my hands from a small nap I just took. "Sure, just grab these bags and bring them to the car," He said and pointed at the small bags that sat in the corner. I'm strong enough to grab the big ones! Or so I thought. I walked and grabbed a big bag and tried my hardest to lift it up but obviously, I miserably failed. How heavy is this thing? I heard my dad laugh and I turned to face him with a not so amused expression. "That's why I told you to grab the smaller ones," He said and I walked to grab the smaller bags. I lifted one up and almost died. It was heavy but not as heavy as the other one which I wasn't even able to move. "You need to work out," He said and I couldn't help but burst out laughing. Me? Workout? Those two words don't even fit in the same sentence. I stopped laughing as soon as I saw my dad's awfully serious expression. "Oh, you're serious?" I asked. Last time I tried to work out with my friends because they forced me to tag along, I almost broke my leg on those running machines because I was messing around and wanted to see how fast it can go but I forgot that I was on it. I think I'm more of a couch potato type of person. He shook his head and tried to hide the smile that was creeping out on his face. Me, being the smartest person in the family, I started pushing the bag causing it to slide towards the exit. "Why lift it up when you can slide it!" I said and smiled at my genius idea, giving it a big thumbs up. My dad just rolled his eyes and went to grab more bags as my mom walked in and started helping us. "I can't wait for you to meet our friends," She said to me and I turned around looking at her with a confused expression. "Wait, what friends?" "The friends that are going to camp with us," "How am I not aware of this?" I asked looking from my mom to my dad and back to my mom. "Because you are always on your phone during dinner time," My mom said and I shook my head. "That one time. One time! And it was a fashion emergency," I said pointing at her. She of all people should know those fashion emergencies are actual emergencies being a fashion designer and all. "What about yesterday?" she asked raising one her eyebrows. "Hmm..." I tried to think of an excuse but my mind was blank. I gave her a cheesy smile before going back to work. When we were done with the bags, we drove to their friend's house and let me tell you this, I was impressed. Their house was huge and much bigger than ours. It was like a maze, I'll definitely get lost in there if I ever find the entrance. My mom and my dad got out of the car to greet their friends and I looked at Ally and gave her a death glare. I still haven't forgotten about this morning. I like to keep my grudges close to me. When she looked at me, she immediately ran out of the car and I laughed to myself. I just have that vibe on people and they know not to mess with me. I returned my attention to my phone. I was stalking people on i********:. It's my new hobby when I'm bored. The door next to me opened and I looked up, confused as to why Ally returned so fast. But it wasn't Ally. Someone's back was facing me. And me being a paranoid teenager, I did the first thing that came into my mind. I screamed. I screamed so loud that the glass of the car shattered. Just kidding. But thankfully it wasn't an intruder. It was just a surprising ugly face of Kade Parker.
