Something was wrong.I could feel it.For days, a strange uneasiness had settled inside me, refusing to leave. Ever since the night Kiara had caught me in the nursery, I'd been walking on eggshells. Kael watched me more carefully. Kiara still loved me, but I could see the questions in her eyes.
Questions I couldn't answer.Not yet.Maybe not ever.I stood alone in the garden that evening, staring at the moon above, wondering how much longer I could carry these secrets.
