I was woken up to birds. chirping , the sun was out .
It must be eight in the morning . I wonder go I managed to sleep soundly in the cell .
The concrete bed was anything but comfortable while the air was cold.
My teeth cluttered ,I was shaking like a feeble leaf.
I heard keys jingling.
I never understand why guards always walk around with a beehive of keys and surprisingly they know which key goes where .
" arise and shine lil girl, " he said .
He opened my cell door.
I let out both of my hands ready to be handcuffed so they could transfer me to another jail as I await trial.
I doubt I will escape the death penalty.
" no lil girl, you are free ," he said .
" what?" I asked.
" you are free , go unless you want me to put you back in" he replied.
No thanks .
I left my cell
