Briar POV My eyes flutter open as I stretch out my arms and legs. I expect to come in contact with a warm muscled body, but instead I'm alone. Derek's side of the bed is cold, so he must have gotten up some time ago. I reach for my phone, sitting on the nightstand. I nearly choke on my own spit when I see it's already eleven. Holy sh*t, I don't think I've ever slept this long. After the events of yesterday, I was exhausted. I went to bed right after we spoke with Megan. I have no idea how my brothers controlled themselves after she told us about her conversation with that pr*ck. I hated the pain in my mother's eyes as she watched Megan cry.
