Calob POV I pull into my parking spot outside my condo and put the car in park. Every part of me hated having to share our moment with Derek today, but I know I only have myself to blame. I pick up the strip of pictures of my baby girl. I have a daughter. That's what I need to focus on. Being the best father I can be to my little girl. I've lost Briar, but I won't lose my daughter because of my mistakes. Once I'm inside, I head to the kitchen and hang the ultrasound picture on my frig. My phone rings and my mother's name flashes on the screen. I smile knowing she is calling to find out how the appointment went. "Hey mom" I say. "Don't you hey mom me. I expected a call an hour ago.
