Chapter 2 - New Guest

Alysia

It had a been a few weeks since the incident with Roshni. I was currently waiting tables at the restaurant and I loved seeing my regular customers especially Mr. K. He would always come in before dinner and just sit and have a cup of coffee telling me about his day and his business. Then he would leave me a nice tip, say see you tomorrow, and leave. He would sit in the corner booth every single day, sometimes even sitting at the bar. He didn't come in on the weekends. Priya worked with me a few times a week to help her mom with the bills. Her mom worked two jobs to help provide and she said her uncle also helped them every month. She did the cleaning, cooking, and taking care of her little brother when he mom wasn't home. Today she had to leave early because her mom had to go to work early. 

My mom was doing paperwork in the back office when she called me on the phone located at the register to come to her office. I was trying to figure out what I did wrong. I made my bed this morning, I washed my dishes, I have been doing good in school, I wasn't rude to any customers, I have been nice to everyone/ 

As I closed the door and looked at the smile she had on her face, I knew this couldn't be good. She was up to something and I knew this because I was just like my mom. 

An Hour Later

Alysia, Did you hear me? Alysia's Mom asked her, looking concerned. " I have to get back to work but I will be on my best behavior, Alysia said as she walked out the office. Her mom had just told her that Alex, her mom's husband would be having a childhood friends son coming to stay with them. He would be helping out with the restaurant and farm. His name was Jesse or Jason or something that starts with J. A stranger would be coming into their home and she would have to show him the ropes at the restaurant and farm and even school. Alysia helped out on the farm when needed on the weekends or if one of the helpers didn't show up. 

Alysia couldn't focus the rest of the afternoon and her mom told her to leave early and go home and prepare the guest room downstairs. Since the restaurant wasn't far from home, she just walked it. While she was leaving, she saw Kal with his friends. He grabbed his things and headed out after her. At least she would have company on the way home. 

It's not that big of a deal, Alysia "Kal said as he threw rocks in the field next to them. Ugh, it is because now I won't be comfortable in my own home or in school or even at work and thats not fair, Alysia yelled fuming that even her best friend couldn't understand. 

She was so upset, she shoved Kal and ran the rest of the way home. Her sisters were both probably out with their boyfriends, so she turned on Music and started to clean and cook dinner. 

She was dancing to Indian Music and was finishing up the dishes and completely oblivious to the fact that something came in the front door. 

"Ahem" someone cleared their throat and she jumped and turned around coming face to face with the most hottest person she has ever seen. 

WHO ARE YOU AND HOW DID YOU GET IN MY HOUSE?, Alysia screamed. 

Um....He hesitated.

Jason, their should be cold drinks in the fridge, Alex said as he shut the door and came in with his hands dirty. 

Oh, Alysia, I see you've met. This is Jason, my best friends son and he will be staying with us. Alex said as he washed his hands in the kitchen sink.

Alysia rolled her eyes and turned towards Alex, "I thought he wasn't coming until tomorrow"

Alex dried his hands and said "he wasn't but change of plans. When your done, can you show him to his room? I know your mom wanted to fix it up but just change his sheets and show him around the house. And PLEASE Alysia, be nice. Alex said as he walked back outside probably to get ready to pick up my mom from the restaurant. He always went at closing to help her if she was closing. 

Jason was sitting at the table at this point. "let me finish cleaning the kitchen, then I can show you your room" Alysia said with an attitude. 

Jason didn't even look up from his phone, he just nodded and muttered take your time under his breath. 

She peeked at him from the sink, He was light brown like not too dark. He clearly had muscles, his hair was tied up in a man bun but it was curly and dark brown. He had a tattoo on from his elbow to his wrist and from what she saw when she looked at him earlier, he had green eyes. But she would never let him know she found him hot. 

She finished up in the kitchen and went to the hallway closet to grab some sheets and blankets. When she turned around, he was leaning against the wall behind her. "Follow me" she said and went to the other side of the stairs and down the hall. Right near the living room was a guest room with a bathroom. She opened the two doors and went about changing the bed sheets. " This is your room, its the only room downstairs other than the office. There is a tv on the wall and the bathroom has a shower. There is a towel and any toiletries you need on the sink. I will show you around the house once I am done." Alysia said as she grabbed the old sheets and went down the hall to the laundry room. 

She went back to the Room and he followed her. She showed him the upstairs which has the master room, game room, and three bedrooms which was her and her sisters. She showed him around the kitchen, the living room, dining room, office, and garage which was converted into a hangout spot. She also showed him the backyard where they had a pool. "ANY questions" she asked. "Nope, I am going to take a shower but thank you Ma'am. He said in the most sexiest accent and walked back to his room. 

Alysia could not wait to talk to Priya tonight and tell her what happened. Maybe this year was turning out better than she thought.
