Lavender Seas

----Lavender Seas--- ***Caspian’s POV*** I didn’t care for these people.  They were just going to add to my numbers for my army and more helpers among the omegas.  They purely weren’t people to me but numbers.  That’s the only reason I agreed to the merge.  Alpha Darius and his Luna would relinquish their power and control to me during this merge and live their lives out as normal wolves on my lands.  I had to admit, the power over two clans felt good. A girl with lavender seas for eyes came into the room when Darius summoned everyone.  My wolf became agitated the longer I stared into her eyes. “What’s wrong, Fenris?”  I asked him as I could feel him pacing back and forth in my mind.  He stayed quiet though but wouldn’t sit still. My eyes seemed glued to this girl.  Who was she?  Why couldn’t I take my eyes off her? My attention on this mysterious woman was broken by Alpha Darius as I wanted to growl at him out of reflex for bothering me.  I held myself back though, getting up and addressed the crowd. The pack looked shocked but the purple-eyed girl had the color drain from her face and looked shaky. The need to run over to her and make sure she was okay nagged at me but I restrained myself.  She was a stranger and I was an Alpha.  I didn’t even know her rank. Darius, then, dismissed the Omegas and she was seemingly brought back to life by the girls around her and dragged off.  Was she an omega?  If so, she wasn’t worth any more of my attention. “Thank you for taking our pack in.”  Darius sat next to me as I shrugged. “They will help reinforce our numbers and they will be safe in my pack.  When your pack comes to our clan grounds in two weeks, we will go through the ceremony of stripping them of the ties of the Sen Pack and tie them into the Angel Moon clan.” Fenris continued to be agitated in my mind as I ordered him to stand down and calm down.  I, then, didn’t hear or feel him again during my stay on the Sen Pack grounds. “It is remarkable that you took over your pack on your eighteenth birthday, Alpha Caspian.  You are nineteen now, right?”  Luna May asked. I nodded my head.  “My old man didn’t want to lead anymore and gave me the pack.  I’ve been leading it for the last year but I haven’t found my Luna as of yet.”   “I’m sure you will find her soon.  The Moon Goddess pairs us up with the best match, always.”  Luna May smiled softly. “We will see.  Until then, I don’t have a famine of women throwing themselves all over me.”  I rolled my eyes.  One girl in particular came to mind as my voice dripped with sarcasm. After finishing the formalities, I took my leave from the pack grounds, morphing into a large silver wolf with streaks of a moonlit blue in my fur. Fenris whined a bit as we left the pack grounds but we charged on to go back to our pack.  I sensed the strong desire to want to stay there from him but ignored it.  Why was he so adamant to stay there? We arrived back at our grounds during the sunset as my Beta came out to meet me. “Alpha.  Welcome home.  How did it go?”  The man said calmly. “It went well, we will have their additional numbers in two weeks.”  I decided to keep the purple-eyed maiden a secret for now as I looked up at my Beta.  His muscles were large as he was tanned from head to toe.  His midnight black hair was neatly kept as his green eyes reminded me of a lush forest. “So, Eric, what’s the status here?”  I asked. “Alpha, everything is status quo here.  Nothing new really.  It’s been boring.  Madelyn has been looking for you though.”  Eric grinned as I just groaned. “When will she realize that she isn’t my mate and I have no interest in a girl that every man has taken for a test run already?”  I growled. “And when it’s us, call me Caspian.  You’re my brother.”  I hissed. “Yes Alpha.”  Eric joked as my eyes narrowed and I punched his shoulder. “Ow, dammit, Caspian!  It was a joke!  Gosh, you’re so uptight.”  Eric’s face fell from amused to annoyed as I grinned. “And don’t you forget it, little brother.”  I smirked more. “Anyway, how is the hunt for your mate going?”  I asked as he hadn’t found his mate either. “No one here, bro.  Did you see any fine ladies at the Sen Pack?”  He asked as my mind immediately flashed to the one girl I couldn’t break my gaze from. “Nah.  They are all old geezers.”  Amusement twinkled in my eyes watching Eric’s excitement dwindle again. “You know.  You could probably win people’s hearts a bit more if you weren’t such an ass all the time.”  Eric huffed as he shot daggers at me with his eyes. “Nah, it’s not my method of operation, dearest little brother.”  With that, I walked away from him, waving my hand a little. The rest of the day was spent barking orders for new additions to the building to accommodate the fifty new wolves that we would be taking in.  It was tiring to say the least. “There you are!”  A nasally, high pitched voice said as my skin immediately crawled. “What do you want, Madelyn?  I’m busy here.”  I growled as a warning. “I just came by to say hello.”  She wrapped her arms around my waist as I tensed up and didn’t touch her. “You seem so stressed and tense.  Why don’t you come to my chambers later and I’ll give you a nice massage?”  She purred as her mud colored eyes looked up at me.  If I was being fully honest, her body would be any man’s dream as she had rather large breasts, a small waist, and a plump behind.  It would make a model jealous.  Her hair always had perfect windswept brown curls. “I’d rather choke on my own vomit than get a massage from you, Madelyn.  Now release me and leave before I use my Alpha tone and make you leave.”  My tone was firm and unforgiving as she immediately released me. “Yes, Alpha.”  With that, she flipped her hair off her shoulder and stormed off.  It wasn’t the first time, nor the last time she would try to get together with me.  She wanted to be the Luna and everyone knew it. “Great, now I need to take a shower to get the smell of skank off of my skin.”  I growled loud enough for her to hear.  Smirking at her angered gasp, I watched her stomp off. ----Goodbye---- ***Camila's POV*** Today was the day.  As if the sun had sensed my apprehension and mood, it hid behind clouds for most of the day. The anxiety clawed at me like a rabid animal as I desperately tried to swallow it whole.  This new place wouldn't so be bad, would it? My thoughts went back to Alpha Caspian again and truthfully, my mind wandered to him quite a bit in the last two weeks.   His red eyes looked untrusting and his aura seemed so cold.  Why?   Shaking my head, I tried to clear my thoughts of him.  I had no idea why he invaded my thoughts so often.  He looked at me with such disgust before.  Why was he even looking at me at all? A knock at my door made me jump. "Come in!"   Luna May came in as she smiled and sat down next to me. "Hello Cami.  A lot will change I'm sure when we are brought into the new pack.  Before we become part of the Angel Moon pack, I wanted to give you something."  She smiled warmly as my lavender eyes danced with curiosity. "Your birthday is in exactly two weeks, isn't it?"  Her voice always reminded me of the sweetest dessert in the world as she spoke.  She was like a mother figure towards me growing up. "You remembered?"  I tilted my head, wondering what she was trying to say. Luna May reached into her pocket and produced a box and handed it to me.  As she did, the metallic rattling peaked my interest. "Open it."  She asked. My fingers lay against the small white box with blue ribbon, feeling the soft silk between my fingers from the ribbon.  Untying the box, the ribbon fell to my lap as the Luna took it and tied my hair up with it. Inside was an amethyst crescent moon on a gold chain.  Looking up to the motherly smile from the Luna, I couldn't help but gasp. "Happy birthday, my dear.  I've always felt a motherly pull towards you, so I wanted to get you a present before your seventeenth birthday when your wolf awakens." Tears formed in my eyes as I hugged her tightly.  The love in my heart swelled for her. "Thank you for being like a daughter that I could never have.  Now, you know that when you turn seventeen, your wolf awakens and you have the chance to find your fated mate, right?"  She asked with a straight face. My face, in turn, started to feel warm around my cheeks. "Luna May!!!"  My voice cracked with embarrassment. Her laugh that followed was sweet and melodic.  "I can still completely throw you off your guard, my dear.  I've always loved doing that.  You should let your guard down a bit more and shine, my moon.  You're so beautiful."   She slowly got up as I realized her age had caught up with her.  She must be around fifty now as her bones cracked slightly when she straightened out her creaking bones. "I'll be taking my leave for now, but please come visit often in the new pack house."  With that, Luna May excused herself and left. I put the necklace around my slender neck and peered into the mirror.  My eyes felt like they were playing tricks with me.  I swear that the necklace made my pale lavender eyes stand out even more and added a sparkly luster to them. Quickly turning around, my fingers protectively clasped the crescent moon pendant.  Letting go, I packed up the rest of my things.   We packed up our lives that day into large horse drawn wagons.  The halls echoed with our footsteps while the halls lay barren from their decorations.  The warmth of the halls were gone. I remembered playing in these halls as a young girl with Belle, Brandy and Beth.  This was my first official home.   A quiet sniffle escaped as I hastily tried to hide it but could feel my heart ache for these halls not to be empty.  It just felt wrong. Sighing, I took my bags and went outside to put them into the wagon before hopping into one of the carriages since I couldn't turn into my wolf yet. "Goodbye to the only home I've ever known and where I found my first friends, gained a family, and grew up."  A few tears threatened to escape and I swiftly looked away from my home.  The carriages started to move forward and the pack house started to fade in the distance. A few hours passed and the warm afternoon sun snuck through the carriage windows, warming our bodies and souls. Brandy was excitedly chatting about if there would be cute men there as Belle nodded her head, watching a particular wolf running next to the carriage. Beth had her nose in a book; her eyes scanning each page with ease while she was totally engrossed with this book called Evermoon.  I, idly, stared out the window.  We all were turning seventeen in the next month and would be able find our mates.  I didn't want to think about a mate but it was obvious that it was different for each of us.  Only time would tell. We pulled up to a large iron gate with a few guards posted outside.  They looked worn as I figured it was near the end of their shifts.  Stepping out of the carriages with my friends, I squinted my eyes to take in my new home.  The off-white walls stood tall with a dark brown roof.  Guards seemed to be posted everywhere.   Looking up, I noticed those same red eyes watching me from a balcony that I had seen on the Sen Pack turf a few weeks ago.  Our eyes met and he scowled.  Did he hate me already?  Did I offend him?   We decided to grab some food from our carriage and offer it to the tired men as a sign of good will.  I smiled warmly and extended my hands out to them with some fresh pastries that we had made.  The guard took my hands in his as he thanked me profusely for the food.  He commented on my beautiful purple eyes and I suddenly heard an angry growl.  Breaking my gaze from the man, my instincts forced me to look up.  I was met with those eyes again but they looked angry before I saw the Alpha storm off.  What did I do wrong?
