Chapter 58There are not many roads in the world that could hold a candle to Orchard Road in Singapore. The seemingly endless series of shops, boutiques and stores, selling everything from electronic gadgets to the latest fashion from the Parisian and New York couturiers along the one footpath, are tempting the tourist every step of the way. Talya, Samuel and Khalid were ‘window shopping’ mostly, until Talya came across a leather store that displayed a coat and bag which she couldn’t resist. She was thinking of the cold days that they were going to face upon their return to Europe. She had left pieces of her wardrobe in various spots throughout their journey.
