Ren told Airi everything.
He had left the First-Class world because he wanted to live without
expectations.
Kaede had supported him.
She had warned him about the dreams.

The Kurogawa estate contained a private archive.
Inside, Airi and Ren found an old drawing.
Two boys.
A woman.

“Kaede was right to be afraid.”
Airi turned.
“Who are you?”
“Someone who remembers.”
The stranger pointed at the fourth figure.
“She was erased because she knew too much.”
“What did she know?”
“That the story was never three people.”
Ren stepped forward.
“Who was she?”
The stranger smiled.
“Ask the moon.”
The lights went out.
When they returned, the stranger was gone.
Only a whisper remained:
“The Hunter remembers first.
