THE FATED ONES

Chapter 1:Two years ago ~SHARON~ When I was a little girl I had always anticipated going to college was gonna be a whole new exciting experience,is it about the school dress code or the hustle and bustle of Campus life??.It was always a dream come true for most people, but for me it was just my wishful thinking. That was my thought. What I believed. But sadly it wasn't for me. But the thing about life is that, it surprises us. Stuns us. Proving to us mortals that we are not in control of it,instead it controls us. About two years ago, I once lived the life of one of the young elite in town,been that my father was one of the shareholders of the top industrial company as at that time,but everything went down the drain one fateful night. I was to remember that night when it all happened. I remembered it vividly as if it was just last night. Of course that fateful day so happened to be my birthday. Well if I had known something so unfortunate would have happened that day, I would have prayed earnestly for that day to never come. The day started like every other day,bright and lively as always.My dad has always promised me that my sixteenth birthday party will always be one to remember for a lifetime, because well,according to him,I was entering into a new stage of life and so will have to take over the family's business. He was supposed to introduce me to his business partners that day. So here I was,in front of my full length dressing mirror,preparing for the grand D-day. "Sharon!"My mother calls my name as she barges into my bedroom." Why are you still not dressed? Come on ,hurry up the guests are already arriving",she said standing in front of my door way. "Mom am nervous", I told her almost at the brink of tears." "Darling you don't have to be,remember be your normal self and all is going to be smooth,I want you to look and be your best,and I promise you all will be just fine. she advised me. My mom had always been my best confidant, a person who I could always turn to. A kind and reliable person unlike my dad,who loves been the bossy type. But well I still love him though,.We were one small happy family expecting our bouncing baby boy,after five years of delay in about three months time. "Now get your ass back there, and go dress up",she said trying to lighting up the situation. Be all dressed in ten minutes, she said scooting out of my room. "Sharon,are you ready yet?"I heard my best friend's voice, Tina calling me from the hallway before entering my room along side my second best, Mina."OH MY GOD! you look so damn hot!", shrieked Mina .Damn! this your body is to die for,chirped in Tina. "Loll girls stop flattering me",I told them rolling my eyes and resume back with combing my hair. I had waist length -dark blond curls just like my mom's,big blue eyes just like the colour of the deep sea which was the mirror image of my father's. I was not overweight but I had a curvy hourglass figure,which most girls would kill to have and a pure flawless skin as white as snow,unlike my friends. Tina had long straight black hair as black as a raven's, emerald green eyes,pale skin,small red pout and exceptionally tall. While Mina had dark brown skin with curly hair, she was also tall but wasn't as tall as Tina,with full pink lips which I was always envious of. The three of us are all in matching off the shoulder,knee length body hugs in different colours. Mine in hot red,which was my favorite,and which also accentuated my curvy figure more,while theirs in baby pink shades,which was too short enough to pass as belt on their slim tall figure. We were all putting on shiny louboutin six inches black heels. Like always we were dressed to kill!. "Come on girl, aren't you done yet?",whined Tina pouting her lips. "Chill babe,just a sec" I told her applying the finishing touch of makeup to my face. Checking my self out and satisfied with my look,I grabbed a small cute black purse and together we headed downstairs to the hall where the party was going to be held.
