Stripper On The Run

An exhausted Lexi Myers pulled herself up from her bed, feeling as though her body would give out if she wasn’t careful. Sitting up on the bed, she rubbed her eyes. The sunlight pouring through the windows brightened up the room, letting her body know that it was time to get up. It was exactly 10 in the morning, past the time Lexi usually woke up. ‘’Where…am I? What time is it?’’ Lexi muttered, looking around. After a few seconds, she realized she was in her bedroom. ‘’Aleya? Aleya? Where are you?’’ She called out for her roommate, having no idea if she was in or not. Her head pounded and her body ached. She couldn’t even believe she was able to sit up straight on her normal sized bed. Suddenly, someone stepped into her room. Lexi turned to the direction of the door. ‘’Aleya?’’ ‘’Oh Lexi. You’re up.’’ Aleya rubbed her temples lightly. ‘’My head is pounding. Can I get a glass of water?’’ Immediately Lexi spoke, Aleya reached out to give her the glass of water she had brought up the stairs with her. She knew Lexi would be needing it. Without hesitation, Lexi gulped it down, then proceeded to place the glass on her side table, beside the lamp. ‘’What the hell happened last night?’’ She asked Aleya who had already found herself a seat. ‘’You don’t remember?!’’ ‘’Girl I don’t have a clue.’’ Lexi shook her head and it left Aleya dumbfounded. The previous night was the best night of their lives. Aleya and Lexi had been strippers since they turned 16. They fancied the job so much, and had to go into it as soon as possible. The previous night was the night they had made the most money in their career. Just like they had been promised, the city’s biggest billionaires were present at the strip show, looking to find themselves some girl to take home. And they did. But unluckily for Lexi and Aleya, they were the only girls left after the rest had departed with their new men. ‘’The strip show Lexi!!!’’ Aleya screamed in her face, causing Lexi to shiver. It all then came back to her. ‘’THE STRIP SHOW!!! I can’t believe I forgot about that! Last night was amazing!’’ Lexi cried into her pillow, swinging her legs up in the air. Aleya giggled then spoke out to Lexi. ‘’Last night was the best night of my life. If someone had told me earlier that something like that would happen, I wouldn’t believe it!’’ ‘’How much money did we make?’’ Lexi raised her head back up. She wasn’t expecting anything less than 5000 dollars. ‘’10000 dollars! I counted it back in my room.’’ ‘’Ain’t no damn way…’’ Lexi eyes widened. That was double the money! Just in one night, they made 10000 dollars. ‘’Girl what do you want me to swear on!? It’s right here with me!’’ ‘’Let me see!!!’’ Aleya pulled out a big suitcase from behind Lexi’s door. She had put it there after counting the money in the hallway. Opening the suitcase, Lexi’s eyes flashed at the sight of the money. She quickly jumped out of her bed and met Aleya where she was seated. The money was placed carefully in the suitcase and Lexi couldn’t hide her excitement. She felt like she could cry. ‘’This has to be a dream…’’ Lexi said under her breath. ‘’Do you know what we can do with all this money!?’’ Aleya stared at Lexi who had zoned out just looking at the bundles of money right in front of her. ‘’This is just too good to be true.’’ Lexi muttered lowly. She couldn’t even remember the last time she set her eyes on such a huge amount of money. Lexi Myers was a girl who lived in Atlanta all her life. She grew up with her mom and her dead beat dad, who left when she was just 8, leaving them with nothing but a million dollars. It seemed like a huge amount of money, but it was barely enough for Lexi and her mom to take care of themselves with, considering the fact that they were already used to the rich people lifestyle. With the aim of getting more money for herself and her mom, Lexi moved out and found herself one of her dad’s penthouses to live in. After a couple of months, she met Aleya. Aleya Viocetti on the other hand, was different from Lexi in some aspects. Unlike Lexi, Aleya wasn’t that rich, but she was able to fend for herself. Her mother had died only a few years after her little brother was born. She was just left with her brother and dad to take care of. Her guardian angel pulled some strings and she found herself, living with someone like Lexi. ‘’What do we do with this?’’ Aleya asked, dropping the suitcase on the floor. ‘’Split the money and do whatever we want with it. What do you think?’’ ‘’Hm smart.’’ Aleya said and they both burst out laughing. Taking the suitcase, Lexi walked out of the door with Aleya following behind. They hadn’t had breakfast yet, and the only thing on Lexi’s mind was a turkey sandwich. Walking down the extremely long stairs, they finally made it to their huge living room and finally to their kitchen. She dropped the suitcase on the counter, and walked to the fridge to get all she needed for her breakfast. Lexi who was standing beside her, picked up her phone she had left in the living room the previous night. ‘’What’s going on with the girls? It’s almost 11am and we haven’t heard from them yet.’’ She said, scrolling through her numerous messages. ‘’I know, right? I was just thinking the same thing.’’ ‘’It’s unusual.’’ ‘’Yeah…’’ Lexi replied her. Moving back to her very first message, Aleya received a new one, and she saw it was from Bella, one of the girls from the strip club. Without sparing another minute, she opened the message. ‘’I just got a message from Bella.’’ ‘’Finally. What does it say?’’ Lexi assembled her sandwich and then began making another for the roommate. Aleya remained quiet as she scanned the message, fear written all over her face. Her hand began to shake, and her phone fell to the floor, alerting Lexi. ‘’Aleya? Aleya what’s going on? What does it say?’’ Lexi, who had dropped everything she was holding, rushed to her. Picking the cracked phone from the ground and progressed to read the message. Within seconds, she had the same look on Aleya’s face. ‘’Oh no.’’
