Mated to The Alpha's Daughter

Chapter Thirteen

Kai’s POV

‘That went a lot better than I expected. I thought you were going to ruin everything by attacking her dad.’ I say to Mav.

‘I was close, but I felt calm at the same time. Mate helped us, but I could tell she was hurting.’ Mav whimpered at the thought of Stella being upset.

‘Yeah, I noticed when I growled at Luca, she stiffened and uneasiness was rolling off of her.’ I admitted. Not liking how I acted with her father before. I know how much they love each other, and I never want her to be put in the middle of the one’s she loves and me.

‘She loves us too!’ Mav growled back.

‘She barely knows us; how can she already love us?’ I question my love-sick puppy Alpha wolf.

‘Are you saying you DON’T love her already?’ Mav questioned angrily in my mind.

‘I-I…yeah I do.’ I admit.

‘Exactly. We’re wolves Kai, we fall in love with our mate at first sight. It’s natural and normal for us.’ He explains wisely.

I’m snapped back to the current situation when a throat is cleared, and all eyes are on me. I shift in my seat and Stella squeezes my hand with a giggle.

“If you and Mav are done discussing your undying love for our daughter, may I explain my plan?” Elle questions with a smirk, my eyes widen at her words. She clearly sees the question on the tip of my tongue and before she can explain, Stella does.

“Momma can hear conversations people have with their wolves. When we noticed, you were talking to him…I sort of told her to listen. I thought it was something bad.” Stella explains nervously, she looked too cute. I couldn’t help but nuzzle her and kiss the tip of her nose, making her instantly perk up.

“It’s okay baby. And it was nothing bad. Just us discussing how amazing our Luna is.” I say looking at her lovingly until Elle clears her throat again and gives us a pointed look.

“Sorry.” We both say with a sheepish look. Everyone around us laughs, while Nora and Amara ‘awe’ at us.

“Great, now that I have everyone’s attention.” Elle states giving me a pointed look. “I have a plan that I think will make everyone happy. Especially considering the three future Luna’s in the room are connected to both packs involved.” Elle states making us all look around the room still confused. Where was she going with this?

“You see, all five of our children were born on the same exact day only minutes apart. We always thought the five of them would rule the pack together…but Stella never wanted to be an Alpha. And I always sensed she was in fact NOT an Alpha, but a True Luna. Just as powerful as an Alpha, just less aggressive. She can fight don’t get me wrong, my baby is unbeatable with few exceptions. But her character always screamed Luna. Now before I go any further, girls are you both close to your family?” Elle asked looking at Nora and Amara, Nora stiffened a bit.

“Yes Alpha. My..” Amara began but Elle held her hand up to stop her.

“Girls, please just call me Elle and someday Ma.” Elle said smiling making both girls relax immediately. “Continue Amara.”

“Right. Umm, yes I am close to my family. Levi and I are fraternal twins and he’s my best friend. Along with Kai who is also like a brother to me. My parents died when we were eight and the Alpha and Luna took us in. They’ve been parents to us ever since.” Amara says with a sad smile, her mates pull her closer to them trying to provide her comfort. She relaxes in their arms.

“And you my dear?” Elle asks looking at Nora, who already has tears in her eyes.

“It’s just my momma, little sister and me. I am very close to them as well. Since Papa died a few years ago we grew even closer since we were all we had left.” Nora explains with a small whimper, her head buried in Theo’s chest. “I don’t know how she will take me leaving. She’s already lost her mate.”

“I’m so sorry for both of your losses. You too Levi.” Elle says giving the three a motherly smile. “My children are extremely close you see. The five of them share a rare and unique bond. One stronger than the one I share with my twin brother, or the one Nick, Luca and their sister Aria share. You see, you all share a mate bond, so you understand the idea of your souls finding each other and it becomes one. Well, with my children a piece of their soul is connected to each of their siblings. They are stronger when they are beside each other. Any long period of time that they are apart they become slightly weaker.” Elle says softly, causing me to instantly tense up.

“What do you mean they become weaker?” I ask quickly, my nerves in overdrive. Elle looks at me and smiles.

“Since they were babies, they needed constant contact with one another. Even a day apart and they’d become ill. As they got older, they refused to go anywhere without each other. Stella…well Stella usually becomes the worst. Especially since the incident with Tyler. I’m not saying they need to be side by side every second of every day. But they need to be in each other’s presence more often than what is typical. Malakai, when you spent the last few days away from Stella what did you feel?” Elle asks gently.

“Like my wolf and I were going insane. Like a part of me was missing. I was worried constantly, and Mav continuously told me I needed to check on her. If it weren’t for Levi and Wyatt telling me she was safe every time they saw her, I would have lost it.” I explain in a rush.

“That’s how our wolves are whenever one of us is not around.” Leo says cautiously.

“Especially Stella.” Bash adds.

“Our wolves constantly push us to find her and make sure she’s safe. We are all protective of each other but when it comes to Stella our wolves won’t allow us to be calm unless they are 100% sure she’s safe and protected.” Teo continues.

“That’s why we leave a link open even if she’s only going room away from us. We’re on constant alert. Too many people have threatened her, coveted after her, or taunted her.” Theo states with a saddened look. I growl at the idea of another lusting for my mate. She’s mine. I unconsciously tighten my hold on her.

“For me and Belle. Well, we feel safest when we know they’re close. We feel calmest when we’ve seen them. When we know they’re safe and happy. It’s hard to explain everything we feel. The easiest way is that a part of us is constantly connected, a threat holds us together. The further we are, the tighter the threat gets and wants us to go back. I remember one time when we were around seven or eight our dads brought the boys to a lake house to go fishing, while momma and I had a girl’s weekend. By the third day of being away from them I felt exhausted. Like my whole body had been beaten repeatedly. My heart felt tight to the point where it was hard to breathe. It wasn’t until they were all next to be that I felt like I could breathe again, and the pain went away. We’re able to go longer now without seeing each other since we have our links but before our wolves came, three days was our limit.” Stella explained with tears in her mind at the memory. Her brothers looked at her lovingly. My heart ached for her.

“But if Stella leaves our pack for yours…they won’t be able to mind link anymore. And with duties to your pack, she won’t be able to see them often.” Elle said softly, I stiffen again. Wait are they trying to say she can’t come to my pack? She has to, she’s their Luna.

“My mate needs to be a part of my pack. She’s their Luna.” I say quickly, my anxiety at its peak. Elle smiles again, this time brightly making me confused.

“Yes Malakai. She does need to be a part of your pack, BUT she needs to be a part of theirs as well.” Elle says calmly.

“How can she be a part of both packs?” As I asked the question, I watched as realization hit Elle’s mates, as well as Stella and her brothers.

“Can we do that momma?” Stella asks with so much hope in both her eyes and voice.

“That’s up to your mate baby. I’m pretty sure your brothers would agree, but he has to also for this to work.”

“We’re in.” Her brothers said immediately, but I’m still lost.

“Okay, I’m lost. Can someone fill me in?” I ask feeling left out of the loop.

“Let me tell you a story. Elle found out Nick and Luca, Alpha’s of the Red Moon Pack were her mates. She also had me as a mate, but I screwed up, but a year later we found each other again. I was the Alpha of The New Moon pack. After I fixed things with Elle, we combined the two packs and became one larger pack where all three of us were Alpha’s.” Jayden explains slowly hoping I’ll understand.

“So, let me make sure I’m getting this. You want us to combine New Red Moon and Blood Moon into one pack with Five Alpha’s and Three Luna’s?” I ask making sure I got everything, Elle smiles at me.

“Yes, by combining the packs we would have over 4500 members. We would be an unstoppable force. Our kids would be together. No one would have to part from their families. We would know Stella was safe, you would know she was safe. Like I said my children are strongest when they are all together. If they are separated both packs would suffer with four weakened Alpha’s and a weakened Luna. And when you all mate, their weakened states would affect you as well. My children were always meant to rule a pack together along with their mates.” Elle says with a hopeful smile. I look over at Stella who is looking at me with eyes shining with hope and excitement. How could I deny her? And the thought of her suffering hurts my heart.

“You want this, don’t you baby?” I ask gently, cupping her face in my hands.

“If it’s something you are comfortable with.” She says sweetly, the fact that she is willing to accept me saying no shows how amazing of a person she is. She is willing to suffer just to make me happy.

“Baby, if it’s something you want and need, I’ll do it.”  I say kissing her softly on the lips. “Would I still be Alpha?” I ask gently, looking at Elle who smiles.

“Of course. The five of you would be Alpha’s together. Each member would look to all of you as their leaders.” Elle explains softly.

“What about my Beta and Gamma?” I ask, looking at Levi and Wyatt.

“They would still be your Beta and Gamma. Just as Noah, Elliot and Eric are our future Beta’s. While Greyson is the future Gamma.” Leo states with a smile.

“Greyson is the future Gamma?” I growl out, causing everyone in the room to stiffen especially Jayden, Teo and Theo.

“Yes, why is that a problem?” Jayden asks with a frown.

“Considering he’s in love with my mate, yeah a little.” I state with a look of disgust at the thought.

“Oh yeah that. That’s just puppy love, once he meets his mate, he’ll get over it.” Elle says with a dismissive wave of her hand.

“Wait you knew Grey was in love with Stella?” Luca asks angrily. “How deep does this go? Is this another Jeremy situation in the making?” Luca questions anxiously, causing Jayden, Nick and I to growl.

“Now who the f**k is Jeremy?!” I grit out.

“Oh, he was obsessed with me not your mate.” Elle says with a laugh at my expense.

“Greyson is nothing like Jeremy!” Jayden growls.

“How do we know?” Nick asks nervously.

“He isn’t. I would know, as would Stella.” Elle states confidently. “And Stella doesn’t feel a threat when it comes to Grey, do you baby?” She asks gently.

“Of course not! Grey would never hurt me. We all know that! He’s my best friend, he thought he would be my mate all our lives. Once he finds his, he will understand that what he feels for me is brotherly love, not mate love.” Stella says confidently while looking at me with that ‘mate love’ she was referring to. I instantly relaxed from the look she was giving me.

“Great. So, then it’s settled? We’ll combine the packs?” Elle questions, looking at me expectantly.

I look over at Stella’s brothers who all give me a smile and encouraging nod. Wyatt and Levi are smiling as well and nodding their agreement. I look at my mate and she’s still loving at me with nothing but love and acceptance of whatever decision I make.

“Oh, I should probably tell you I already discussed it with your father. I thought he should be informed of the possibility. He said that whatever you decided he would support, and he would be happy either way, as long as you were happy.” Elle says in a kind tone. s**t I forgot about informing my dad, well at least that’s handled.

“When do we become one pack?” I ask with a bright smile making everyone in the room cheer excitedly.

“Since graduation is in a few months we can wait to have you, all ascend to your roles as Alpha and Luna. It’s March now, so in June we can combine packs and you can take on your roles.” Nick says with a proud smile.

“Umm, are we aloud to mark and mate before that?” Bash asks nervously, making the Alpha’s and Luna laugh.

“We didn’t expect for you to wait that long. You can mark and mate whenever you believe the time is right for you. And you three are more than welcome to spend time here whenever you like, or your mates can come to you. It’s time for us to step back a bit from our kids and allow them to live their lives the way they see fit.” Luca says, shocking us all.

“Papa since when are you the step back and let us make our own decisions kind of dad?” Stella teases.

“Since my baby found a mate that can take care of her just as well as any of us can.” He says with a proud smile.

“Sir, does that mean I can take Stella on a date this weekend and bring her to meet the Blood Moon members?” I ask excitedly, and he gives me an approving nod making both Stella and me smile from ear to ear. “Actually, why don’t all five of you come and spend the weekend over at Blood Moon? You can get to know the members and your mates’ families.” I say looking at Stella’s brothers, this makes Stella jump with joy.

“Ohhh! Yes, let’s all go. It’s a great chance for us to all get to know each other!” Stella says with so much excitement.

The boys look at each other and then back to us. “We’re in.” They say.

I pull an over-excited Stella to the side and whisper in her ear. “We’re still having our date though baby. And I have the best room for you to stay in.” She shivers against me and her eyes hold nothing but love and excitement.

“And where is this great room you speak of?” She asks with a pout, I can’t help but place a gentle kiss on.

“Mine.” I growl lowly.

“Yes yours. Now tell me about this great room.” She says with teasing tone.

“I just did love. The room you’re staying in is mine. I won’t allow my mate to sleep anywhere but beside me.” At my words, she gulps nervously. “Awe baby don’t be nervous. We don’t have to do anything. I just want to hold you.” I say soothingly.

She leans up and whispers in my ear so only I can hear her. “What if I do?” She asks shyly.

“What if you do what?” I ask, now the nervous one.

“Want to do something?” Her sexy voice sending shivers down my spine.

“Whatever you want my love. I’m at your mercy.” I state honestly.

“This should be a very interesting weekend mate.” She says with a smirk and saunters away towards her brothers, swaying her hips seductively as she goes. She looks over her left shoulder, biting her bottom lip. “Are you coming?” She asks sweetly holding out her hand for me.

“Wherever you go.” I whisper to myself. And I meant it. I would go wherever she did.
