Chapter Twelve

Bash’s POV

I was happy for my brothers and sister. They found their mates. I was also a little jealous and sad since Leo and I hadn’t found ours. I mean it’s only just our birthday now so there is time. She could be at a different pack or younger, so we haven’t seen her in school yet. Whatever. Right now, Stella needs our help so that’s exactly what I’ll focus on. Helping my baby sister. Our angel.

We walk into the conference room to Pa and Dad looking at Kai approvingly, momma looking at him adoringly, and Papa looking murderous. Yeah, makes sense. I’m shocked dad and pa are looking so accepting though, that was unexpected.

“Ahh my boys!” Momma coos at us in her usual sweet voice. “And boys you brought your mate, good.” She says with a smile to Nora who looks scared. Stella jumps up and rushes to Nora’s side and hugs her, catching her off guard. Nora quickly comes to her senses hugging Stella back with a giggle.

“That’s why we felt that bond with each other!! We’re sisters!” Stella squeals in her typical excited tone, making everyone in the room either laugh or smile at her antics. She really is the kindest soul to ever live. A true Luna.

“Well, everyone we’d like to officially introduce you to our mate and future Luna. Nora” Teo says with a huge smile and the calmest I’ve ever seen him.

“Welcome to the family dear.” Momma says giving her a warm smile and hug. “You knew too, didn’t you?” Momma says looking at Stella.

“I had a feeling on Friday. The way they were acting and looking at each other reminded me of…of how Kai and I were before we knew about the bond.” Stella says blushing in embarrassment, making Kai smile with so much love for my sister. He was an okay dude.

“Congratulation’s boys!” Pa says with a bright smile and a pat on their back.

“We are so happy for you.” Dad says and then looks to Leo and I. “You will meet your Luna soon boys. I have a good feeling.” He says with an encouraging smile. We nodded our head and smile back at him.

“Boy’s congratulation.” Papa said finally smiling at Teo and Theo, but then looked back towards Kai with a disgruntled look.

“I can’t believe three of my babies met their mates. Bash and Leo take your time. I’m not ready for you all to be mated.” Momma says with a sad smile. “But dad’s right.” She says winking at us both knowingly.

“The Goddess has truly blessed our kids with great mates!” Momma said excitedly making Papa scoff in distaste.

“A great mate would have waited for my Princess.” Papa growled out. Oh s**t. He doesn’t know. We never told Stella or our parents what Kai told us that day in the office. I see Kai stiffen in his seat and let out a low growl.

“Then I must be the best mate out there.” Kai said through gritted teeth, making all three of our dads look at him in confusion. They believe he was a playboy, since well we told him of the rumors going around.

“Best mate? Yeah right.” Papa said in disbelief. I look at Stella who is sitting calmly in her seat, which can only mean one thing. She knows. She knows he waited for her. He told her and she would have known if he was lying or not. I let out a relieved breath knowing that he was honest with us that day.

“I waited for my mate. Sir. I have never been with any other she-wolf in my life.” Kai said in an icy tone, making Stella flinch a bit. She didn’t like how he was talking to Papa.

‘Are you okay sweetie?’ I ask her in our link. She lets out a sigh.

‘Yeah, I just don’t like him talking to Papa like that. Even if he has every right to. Papa is trying his patients and insulting him. But he’s still Papa.’ She says with the saddest tone I have ever heard from her. My usually happy sister is hurting watching two of the most important men in her life act like this.

“Papa, it’s true. Alpha Malakai waited for his mate. He’s like you in that way. The rumors are just those, rumors.” I say calmly hoping to ease the tension in the room. I mean Kai is a better man than my brothers and I. At least he waited. We took after our fathers unfortunately and did not wait for our mates. Well, all except for Theo – he was smart and listened to Stella about waiting.

“You waited for your mate?” Papa asks Kai in a whisper, almost unbelieving.

“Yes sir. I knew no one would ever be able to compare to her, so why risk hurting her in the future?” Kai said only making my brothers and I shift uncomfortably in guilt. I looked at Teo who looked nervously at his mate, who smiled at him obliviously.

‘Fuck.’ Teo said accidentally in our link.

‘I did warn you guys, at least my sweet Theo listened.’ Stella mocked in our heads.

‘You weren’t meant to hear that and thanks for making me feel better Stells’ Teo says with a huff.

“So…you don’t go after innocent girls and take advantage of them?” Papa asked with some hope in his voice.

“No sir. And I really hate these rumors. I have never touched another female in that way.” Kai said with a small growl aimed at those who spread such rumors.

“Wow, I’m impressed. It was easy for me to keep myself back from my hormonal urges since Elle and I were best friends growing up. I always knew I loved her, and I never wanted to disappoint her. But if she hadn’t been around, I don’t know if I would have waited. Good for you, young man.” Papa said with pride for his pups’ mate, but he soon turned pale at the sound of mommas’ growl.

“YOU WOULDN’T HAVE WAITED?” She asked angrily, face red from rage. Papa gulped nervously. Pa and dad laughed lowly next to him, enjoying the fact that Papa was getting in trouble for once. It was usually her mad at dad or Pa. “You two shut up. You didn’t wait! But I always thought that my sweet Luca would have waited for his mate regardless of being her best friend growing up.” Momma admonished with sadness and disappointment in her eyes.

“Baby I would have probably waited. I said I don’t know what I would have done. Had you not always been in my life who knows what kind of man I would have grown up as.” Papa says, which makes momma soften slightly.

“Hmph yeah you probably would have been like Nick had I not molded you. You’re right love, I made you the amazing man you are!” Momma said excitedly, sometimes I swear she acts like a teenager.

“You sure did Princess.” Papa said adoringly, looking at momma with so much affection.

“Guys, we’re still here!” Stella reprimands our parents who are looking at each other with lust, right in front of us. Kai and Nora let out a small laugh and look at our parents with admiration. You can tell they aspire to be like that with their mates.

“You definitely made me a better man baby.” Dad purrs in her ear, completely ignoring Stella’s words, or the fact that they had an audience.

“The best men my love.” Pa adds. Seriously? We have two guests in the room with us.

“EWW! Momma, seriously. Room full of wolves, most of whom are your children. We do NOT need to smell your arousal.” Leo growls in a disgusted tone. Momma’s face turns bright red, and our dads let out a growl.

“f**k. Sorry guys!” Momma squeals and runs out the room. “I’ll be right back, no one leave. I have to tell you guys a plan I have!” She shouts rushing to her room, probably to shower.

“Our apologies. We got a little carried away and forgot we had a room full of…” Dad trails off looking slightly embarrassed.

“Your kids and their mates?” Stella says, looking ready to burst into a fit of laughter. “After all these years later and you guys are worse now than when we were younger.” Stella says teasingly, but you can see her eyes shine with affection for our parents’ relationship.

“Baby you will come to find that with more time spent with your mate, the stronger your bond grows. Your love will only become more enhanced as time goes by.” Pa explains with a smile on his face.

“Couldn’t have said it better myself.” Dad says.

“Look, Malakai. I apologize for how I’ve acted today. You seem like a great man, and a fantastic future Alpha. We’re just protective of our angel. She’s my pup and in my eyes, no one will be able to love and protect her better than us. But I can tell you would lay down your life for her.” Papa said looking at Kai with a smile and then turns to Stella. “My baby. I just want the best for you. I love you more than you could ever know.” With that Stella runs into Papa’s arms and cries softly.

“Papa, I do know because I love you just as much. You will always be one of my fiercest protectors. My best friend. First loves. Papa, I may have a mate, but I’ll always be your little girl, your princess.” She says smiling up at him, before kissing him on the cheek.

“Well, you’d always be my little princess whether you liked it or not.” Papa says with a smirk.

“Sir, I promise I will always take good care of her. I will do everything in my power to make your daughter happy. That is a vow I intend to never break.” Kai says standing in front of Papa.

“You know what? I think I believe you.” Papa says taking Kai’s outstretched hand and giving him a pat on the back, all the while still holding Stella in his other arm.

“Isn’t this a perfect sight. My mate accepting our daughter’s mate.” Momma says from the doorway approvingly. “Now who wants to know my plan that will make everyone happy?” She says excitedly.

We all look at her confused, but in our hearts, we feel it to be true. Whatever she has planned will make us happy. Before she can say anything a warrior comes behind her.

“Alpha’s there are three unknown wolves in a car outside the packhouse. Two males and a female.” Warrior Josh says quickly.

“Rogues?” Dad questions.

“No sir, they smell of the neighboring pack.” He answers just as quick.

“Oh, they must be my future beta, his sister, and my gamma.” Kai says before his eyes turn white, clearly in a mind link. “Yes, it’s them. I’ll go out and let them know they can head home without me.” Kai says.

“No need. They can be here for this conversation. It will involve them as well since they are to be the future leaders of your pack with you.” Momma says dismissively. “Send them in Josh.”

“Sure thing Alpha.” He says bowing his head low in respect. Momma looks at Leo and I will a twinkle in her eye.

“My beta’s sister can wait in the front.” Kai says.

“Like I said they can all be here for this. Her especially.” Momma says with a smile.

“What do you mean especially h..” Leo said but stops speaking just as I’m hit with the scent of sandalwood. Then I hear a whispered “Mate” from behind me making Leo and I snap our heads to the door of the conference room.

There stood the most beautiful creature I have ever seen in my life. With auburn hair and piercing blue eyes. My wolf, Steele, growled in my head what Leo and I spoke out loud.

“Mine.” We growled in unison. The girl rushed forward, launching herself in our arms. We hugged for what felt like seconds, but I’m sure it was longer than that. She pulled away smiling at us shyly.

“Hi. I’m Amara.” She says confidently.

“Hi, I’m future Alpha Sebastian and this is future Alpha Leonardo. But you my dear Luna can call us Leo and Bash.” I say with a loving smile.

“A-Alpha’s?” She says with a slight stutter, obviously shocked.

“Yes love. Alpha’s” Leo says with so much affection in his tone. An excited squeal and a body launching at Leo and I snap us back into reality. We let go of our mate and grab Stella into a hug. Stella’s arms and legs are wrapped around me as she’s whispering in my ear.

“I told you!! I’m so happy for you babe.” It was low enough for only us to hear. All of a sudden a growl is heard and Stella is yanked from my arms and thrown to the ground.

“YOU DARE TOUCH MY MATE!!!” Amara growls ready to launch herself at Stella, but Leo and I grab her arms in time. Stella giggles excitedly, obviously loving how possessive our mate is. Amara glares at her confused. “Why are you laughing?” She growls.

“I’m sorry! I’m Stella Rossi, your mates womb sharer and sister.” Stella says in her sweet and excited tone. “Oh and I’m also Kai’s mate.” She says smiling brightly looking at Kai who looks ready to yell, outraged that someone tried to hurt his mate. Amara stiffened in our arms.

“Oh. My. Goddess. I’m so, so sorry. I didn’t know. I thought…” She began before trailing off, only causing Stella to smile more.

“That I was a w***e moving in on your mates? Yeah, I got that. No worries, I appreciated that reaction. Means you care about my brothers, and you can fight!” Stella says still smiling. “We are going to be great friends; I can feel it already! Oh, you and Nora!” Stella says jumping up and down excitedly. Who can blame the girl, she’s been surrounded by boys her entire life.

“Nora?” Amara asks confused, but by the smile on her face she is enjoying Stella’s reaction.

“Ahh, yess! Our other womb sharer’s mate. Teo and Theo. Those two over there. And that gorgeous girl between them, that’s Nora!” Stella says pointing everyone out.

“Oh yeah, I know Nora! Hey girlie.” Amara says sweetly to Nora who is smiling excitedly before she rushes and hugs our mate.

“YOU FOUND YOUR MATE!!” She squeals, hugging Amara tightly.

“SO DID YOU BABE!” Amara shouts with just as much excitement. At this Stella frowns.

“You know each other already? Hmph, I thought I was going to get to introduce two new friends. Dang it.” Stella pouts, kicking the floor adorably. Nora and Amara look at her with an adoring smile.

“Awe Luna, we grew up together! I didn’t realize you were the girl Nora was telling me I had to meet. She went on and on about the amazing, sweet girl she met and how I would love her. That we would become fast friends, and after meeting you I know she was right. And who would have thought we’d get to become sisters!” Amara says holding on of Stella’s hands, Stella looked at both girls with so much happiness and turns to us.

“GUYS! I have two new sisters, isn’t that great. Momma how many times have I asked for one and now I get two!” Stella giggles. She really is too innocent and sweet. Kai is looking at her as if she hung the moon.

“Kai, wow did the Moon Goddess bless you. She is truly a perfect Luna. And gorgeous.” Amara says approvingly towards Kai, who’s face lights up at her words.

“She really is.” He says with a twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face.

“Now that all future Alpha’s and Luna’s are present, who’s ready to hear this plan of mine?” Momma says from behind us, all three of her mates surrounding her. All four of them looking at the eight of us with so much pride and love.

"We are!" The five of us siblings say in unison, causing our mate's to laugh at us. Wow, we all found our mates.
