Chapter Eleven

Teo’s POV Why do these guys always have to cause problems for my baby sister? Why do these jealous girls always have to try and belittle her? She is the sweetest and purest soul I have ever known. The thought of people harming her or breaking her guts me. I hate that my parents made us stay behind today. After situations like these my wolf and I can never calm down unless we have her in our site, where we know she’s safe.   My wolf, Jay is growing more and more restless as the day goes on. I don’t know if it’s because of Stella or the idea that our mate could be close by. We’re heading towards our lockers when a tantalizing scent hits me. Cherry blossoms. My wolf is growling in my head, going insane from the scent alone. I look at Theo and notice him stiffen beside me as well. He starts looking around us frantically.   “Do you smell that?” He asks me in a rush.   “Cherry blossoms?” I ask anxiously. If we’re both smelling something that’s driving our wolves crazy, then it could only mean one thing. Our mate was close. We’re identical twins, which means we share a mate. Kind of like Papa and Dad shared momma.   “No, I’m smelling strawberries.” He says in a longing tone.   “Could it be our mate? Dads always said that momma smelt different to them.” I ask with excitement in my voice.   “I think so. There’s no other expla-.” Before he could finish his sentence, we both freeze when the scent grows closer and closer. At the end of the corridor, I notice a tiny figure looking around frantically. When our eyes lock, Theo and I growl in unison.   “Mate.” With that we rush to the girl at the end of the hall. She’s beautiful. With her long, raven hair. Piercing green eyes. Heart shaped face, with a cute little nose and perfectly pink lips. Then it hits me. We know this girl. Nora. The girl we almost killed a few days ago for harassing Stella. The girl who was forced to do so. The one we yelled at. Grabbed in a rough hold. Threatened. Her eyes widened when she realized who we were and who we are to her.   “Alphas.” She says in a whimper. We pull her into our arms, holding her in a gentle, but tight hug.   “Hi little Luna.” Theo growls playfully towards her.   “L-luna? Wait, you’re not going to r-reject me?” She says in a small, fragile voice making us both growl at the thought of rejecting her.   “Why would you do that babe?” I say gently.   “Don’t you hate me for what I did? How I acted with Stella?” She says with tears in her eyes.   “Awe, little Luna. Don’t cry. Please I can’t bear to see you cry. We know why you did what you did, that just makes what’s going to happen to that w***e even worse.” Theo says with a growl at the end when thinking of the locked up she-wolf.   “So, you accept me?” Nora says with hope in her eyes.   “Of course, we do. You’re our mate baby. Why do you not accept us?” I ask her, cupping her face in my hands.   “What?! I accept you! I hate waited for my mate forever, there’s no way I would ever be able to do anything other than accept you.” She says in a sweet voice. “Both of you.” She says with a small giggle, feeling both of us hugging her tightly. Me in front of her, and Theo behind her.   “f**k yeah! My little Luna, we should go to the house and let you meet our parents. This time under better circumstances.” Theo whispers against her ear, causing a shiver to go down her spine. The smell of her arousal hits my nose, and a growl vibrates through me.   “Baby, are you trying to get these other males killed?” I growl against her lips.     “N-no.” She stutters out.   “Then, let’s get out of here. Your delicious scent is only for my brother and I to smell.” Theo growls from behind her. She gives a weak nod and allows us to pull her to our car.   ‘Our mate bro. We found our mate!’ Theo says in our private link we so much happiness.   ‘I know, can you believe it. She’s perfect.’ I say with a dreamy sigh.   ‘She really is.’ He agrees immediately.   ‘Was that who we think it is?!’ Leo and Bash asked with excitement.   ‘If you’re thinking it’s our mate, then yes!’ Theo says blissfully.   ‘YOU FOUND HER?! IT’S NORA ISN’T IT!?!’ Stella shouts in our minds, Theo and I freeze at her words. But we can’t help but smile at how happy she sounds.   ‘How did you know that Princess?’ I ask curiously.   ‘I had a feeling after watching you three together on Friday. It was obvious there was something there, even if you didn’t know it – your souls still feel the pull.’ Stella says with a voice that I immediately know she’s smiling her biggest smile.   ‘You are too smart for your own good Angel.’ Bash teases back.   ‘Did you guys find your mate also?’ She asks Bash and Leo, who sigh in our minds.   ‘No, not yet.’ They say with a sad tone.   ‘You will. Soon. I can feel it!’ Stella says with her usual optimism. ‘Now hurry and get home. Papa is making Kai shake. My poor mate. If there’s a fight, I can’t be held responsible.’ She says in a stressed tone.   ‘We’re on our way baby. Don’t worry after today, we have his back.’ I tell her honestly. He protected her today, he was ready to kill Chris for posing as the slightest threat to her. He was a good man. A great Alpha. And I could tell he would be a wonderful mate. Stella deserved to be happy and if that included Kai, then I would help her.   ‘Teo’s right Princess. He proved himself today. We accept him. We’ll be there in a few minutes.’ Leo says to her in a gentle tone.   ‘Thank you, guys! I love you all so, so much. Now hurry.’ She says nervously.   ‘We love you too!’ We all say in unison.     “Let’s go Theo, Stella needs us.” I say out loud for Nora to hear.   “What happened? Is she okay?” Nora questions quickly.   “Just our fathers giving her mate a hard time.” Theo says with a laugh.   “Oh. Do you think they’re going to accept me?” She asks nervously.   “They will. Momma probably already knew you were our mate. They love all of us, but with Stella we’re all just a little overprotective is all. She’s the only girl in our family and she reminds our fathers of mom. We just need to go and explain that when it comes to Alpha Malakai, he has Stella’s best interest at heart.” I explain in a calming voice, I feel her relax at my words.   “Okay.” She says in a small whisper. ------------------------------------------- Stella’s POV We’ve all been sitting in the conference room since 11:00 just staring at each other. Every time Kai tries to say something one of my dad’s just growl at him. It’s now 2:30 and barely any words have been shared. I’m growing impatient and Kai is growing frustrated. He’s an Alpha male who is not used to people growling at him and looking at him threateningly. I linked the boys telling them to hurry, but I don’t think I can wait any more. It’s been three and a half hours of this and I’m over it.   “Guys, are we going to talk or should we just leave?” I say in an annoyed voice.   “Watch your tone Princess.” Papa says with a stern face causing me to whimper. He never talked to me so harshly. At my whimper, his face softens. “I’m sorry baby. I just need a second to get Cole to calm down.”   “If you let me calm him, we could have started this discussion already. What was the point in us leaving school if we weren’t going to speak?” I say with a small voice causing them all to sigh.   “She’s right Luca.” Dad says in an apologetic tone.   “Of course, she’s right. You three are acting like morons. As usual.” Momma says with an agitated growl. “I wish my dad was here to see this, he would mock all of you.”   “Baby don’t start.” Papa said with a frown.   “What? It’s true. This poor boy was you three almost 20 years ago. And if you ask me, he has acted better than the three of you had when my father questioned your ability to protect me or care for me.” Momma said with a tone that said, ‘am I wrong?’   “He wanted to take you away from us. Hide you.” Pa growled out.   “No, he wanted you three to stop arguing with Jake. He knew threatening to take me away would get your attention, and it did.” She says with a sly smirk.   “Malakai, may I call you Malakai?” Pa says looking at Kai.   “Yes sir.” Kai says respectfully.   “Okay, Malakai. We aren’t saying we’re going to keep Stella from you. We just are trying to come to terms with the fact that our baby girl found her mate and will eventually leave us.” Pa says with a pleading look towards Kai, asking him to understand.   “Jayden, this boy won’t be taking my pup anywhere away from us!" Papa growled angrily; I can feel Kai shaking beside me clearly trying to control his wolf.   “Luca do you hear yourself?” Momma says annoyed. “She is an 18-year-old young lady who found her mate. You cannot keep them apart!”   “I never said I would. I only said he wasn’t taking her. How am I supposed to trust that she’s safe if we can’t keep an eye on her?” Papa explains as calmly as he can.   “If I may Sir. I would die before I allowed anything to happen to your daughter. I would kill anyone who looked at her the wrong way. Anyone who was a threat to her.” Kai says in earnest, I watch as all three of my father’s faces soften a bit at his words, and momma’s face breaks out in a huge smile.   “You have to admit Luca. He sounds like us when we would speak to Austin.” Dad says with a small laugh.   “He is an Alpha after all.” Pa says looking at Kai approvingly.   “Once the boys get here, I have something to tell everyone that I think will please everyone involved. Hopefully.” Momma says looking at me with a bright smile and knowing eyes. “May I ask you something Malakai?” At the sound of my mom’s voice Kai straightens and looks at her with a soft expression, one filled with respect.   “Yes Alpha. Anything.” Kai says with a slight bow of his head, his wolf obviously feeling her Alpha aura even if she’s not even trying to project it.   “Your territory border is what…ten minutes from ours at most?” She questions, in which Kai nods softly. “How many members are in your pack young man?”   “Blood Moon has 1,500 members Alpha.” He says quickly.   “Great, that’s perfect. Thank you. And sweetie, you can call me Elle.” She says sweetly and leaves us all confused.   “Al- I mean Elle, may I ask why?” Kai questions softly, causing momma to laugh a bit.   “You will find out soon enough. By the smell we have five new attendees making their way here now.” She says with a glint in her eyes that shows excitement and joy. “Two of my other babies brought home their mate as well.”
