My mind was going crazy as I ran through the bears, wondering what was going to happen now. With Travis most likely dead by now, would they stop fighting? Then again...there was still one more, right? One more in charge, the one that’s been hiding behind Travis and leading the whole thing this whole time. All at once the bears stopped and stood tall, their heads thrown back in grief as they roared loudly into the slowly darkening sky, the sun slowly lowering. I watched as a few of the bears broke away from the fray, standing back, watching, and wondered if they were from another pack.
