UNPLANNED FATE?

1659 Words
Hold up. HOLD UP! This is that guy?! The rich guy, who had bought this whole hotel? And... The same guy I met when I was on my way out form Evan's office? This is that Paul?! How the fate intertwined! "Um, can I come in?" Paul asked, politely as he saw that I was not blinked for a minute. Realizing that I was in between the door and the class, I stepped aside and let him in. He nodded and went in, but not straight to the seat, instead, he walked beside the cafe guy. "Man, long time no see! You're doing good?" Paul hugged with the cafe guy beside me. Huh, this really proves that they both are related. "Doing great. So, hey, why don't you, and this guy go and take a seat? The class just started but not that long." The cafe guy pointed at me, and Paul followed his finger, watching at the end of it. I stood there frozen, when they both looked at me, unmoved. "Sure! Go and do your stuff!" Paul talked to that guy for minutes and was about to leave. I was feeling disappointed when they did not look at me when they were about to part. Actually, disappointed when Paul did not ask me to come with him. "You come?" When I looked at the front again, Paul was still there, smiling as he asked me. "Ye-Yeah, coming. Sorry." I replied nervously while following him to the open seat left. Turns out, the only chairs left are parted from each other. Ah, just when I put my hopes too high! I bowed down to him and pointed the chair that I was about to sit. He nodded and walked to the other chair left. I sadly put my stuff on the floor and straighten my back, facing the blank canvas. They already prepared the painting tools on the floor under the canvas's wooden easel. I took the brush and the thin pallet, pouring some red and white colour on it to start painting. Shoot! He did not tell me what to paint! I looked around and found out that people were drawing something abstract...which was undefined! But then again, I took a look at the centre of the room, and they already put an apple. An apple, on the sculpted stone stand. Maybe, we need to create an art based on the apple? Or, the apple's story? Or, story related to an apple? I shook my head and started to move my hand to whichever it desires. A stroke of the red line suddenly shaped the canvas into some art, with a mixture of black and white lines within it. I kept letting my hand drew what it wanted, leaving my mind wanders thoughtlessly, as I did not want it to stop.  The art that I created... It wants to tell a story. No. It wants to tell my emotion. I was carried away by the paints that I did not hear someone pulling a chair beside me and placed his or her tripod easel. I heard it, but I pretended it was no one since suddenly my interest was at the blank canvas that started to shape something, almost like a person. No, two people, holding something. Holding the most desired things, that cause the first man in heaven, fall down the Earth. But formerly, it was man and women who fall, but my hand decided to alter it.  Because it wants to say what my deepest desire holds on for so long. Two men, holding an apple, on top of the sky, naked, but only covered with a piece of cloth at their private part.  Thunder surrounded them, showing how wrong it was, but two men held the apple so tight, they did not care about what is wrong around them. I added emotion for both of them, one was sad, melancholy about how he felt, and the other one, I put it blank. No emotion.  But he was determined enough to hold the apple together with the sad man, knowing he was the reason why the man was unhappy in the first place. Thus, the man vowed to himself, through rain and sun, by the wind with the storm, he will be there with the sad man. And one thing that will hold them together is an apple. I finished the painting, with the description I made in my mind. I put down my brush on the pallet and stared at my canvas for a while. Is this my desire? I gazed for too long that I did not realize that someone was too close beside me, was likewise, joining me stared at my art. "Wow, you do have that hand." When I heard a sudden comment, I jumped a little but managed to not fall from the chair. When I realized who it was, I blinked disbelief. "Hurm, this painting is telling a story, isn't it? Wow, with just an apple, you can tell many stories from it, right?" "Oh, Mr Paul, I didn't realize..." He chuckled. "Come on, just Paul. We don't want people to know that I'm that old." He winked and gave a smile. I snickered quietly, not attracting attention from those who are still focused on their paint. "Okay, just Paul, didn't realize you were here." When I looked back to his left, I realized that he brought his chair and canvas, altogether his painting tools and put it beside me. "Hah! I noticed that I didn't get any view of the object, so I tried to walk around and see for any opening spaces. 'Till I saw your painting, I knew I had to look at it closer." He said that with all his might. I blushed a little, as I thought he was giving a compliment, but then I realized that I was drawing two men in it! "Oh, um, aa... haha, yeah." I replied nervously, hoping that he did not saw the details of it. "Although, something caught my attention in this drawing." God, please no! He pointed at the man, with no expression, while he made an earnest look. He found out about it! Bye, world. "Why is this man have no expression? It kinda makes the story is unfinished, or the painting bland and lusterless." Did he just use the word 'lust'? "Oh, um." He waited for my answer as he tapped his index finger, on his big right thigh. His thighs can crush me if they want! "Hey, it's okay. I'm open-minded, so come, spill it out! It might be interesting in your opinion, after all, this is, your art!" I nervously laughed while looked directly into his eyes, that stared straight into my soul. "Maybe, I didn't put the emotion in the man, because...I can't identify which feeling to put it on."  I started to explain while looking at my art. I did not realize that Paul stared at me. "Like, should he be mad, because he too, been punished for the fault he hasn't done?" He nodded, indicating he understood what I was telling him. "Or, should he too felt sorrow, as he had to go down to Earth, accepting the fact that he had to be with that man for the rest of his life?" Again, he responded with a slight nod to my answer. "Or, should he be happy, because finally, he broke free from the chains that hold him down, and finally can be free with that man on Earth?" I stared at the canvas for a few minutes. "And that's why I cant-" I turned around to face Paul, but my answer was stopped in the middle of my sentence. Paul's face was closer to mine, which with any movement made afterwards, will result in a kiss. "That's why...what?" Paul demanded an answer without moving his face backwards. I nervously and slowly retreated my body back and tried to avoid his eyes while I tried to answer. "So, that's why, um I didn't put any emotion on him." He moved even closer than before. "Sorry, what?" I whispered the same thing because my face was turning a bit red as I can sniff his cologne. He smells so manly. "Ah, probably we are far apart, I cant listen to your voice." Suddenly, he pulled my chair and moved it closer to him. He leans next to me while covering his ear and put it closer to my lips. "I understand that you didn't want to disturb the other. Now, I'm this close, you can whisper to me." I want to be on top of you. "I'm sorry, on top of what?" Shoot! Is he hears me mumbled under my breath? "Ah, I said, I didn't put any emotions on the man, because I cant still find the right emotion that fit on him." He nodded and nodded. I hope he did not go any lower. My thing is hard! After that, he straightened his back and faced me, with his charming smile. "Well, I didn't know that my cousin can find this sooner prodigy of art in this city..." He paused and smiled while chuckled nervously. "I believed we didn't make any introduction earlier. My name is Paul, and you, future to be Leonardo Da Vinci?" He extended his hand to shake. I accepted his hand and shook it lightly.  His hand feels warm and big. "Alan, the name is Alan." He smiled, but sooner, he stared at me with sceptical looks. "Do we meet anywhere, Alan? I swear, I had already met you somewhere..." I smiled. "I think we already met, but not that fancy one. In La Horetia? At Mr Evan's office door? It was a surprise if you did remember me, though it was only for a few seconds." He snapped his finger as he got to recall something. "Ah, yes! That's why I'm familiar with your face and petite body. I mean, your body is looking like a normal size person, rather than me." But I want to ride that body! I secretly kept the thoughts for myself and laughed about it nervously. "Shh!" Someone finally snapped when we were being too loud in the class from the beginning. I looked around and noticed that some of them were narrowed their eyes on us. Guess we did make some noises while we are here. Paul looked at his watch, and suddenly he leans again, closer to me. "How about we go for a coffee break? I'm pretty sure we will not be missed here, either." He smiled and winked again. I nodded with his offer since I already finished with mine. "Sure."
