Chapter 14:Dead

Helen

There was no where to run.There were no windows to jump out of.I was scared.No more like terrified.Mr.Dodge was coming towards me.I grabbed the shower curtain and tried to use it with the rod it was on.He tore it out of my hands and slammed it into my throat.

That made me lose my breath.I could barely breath.I knocked the curtain rod out of his hands.I wasn't going down without a fight.I owed my boyfriend a date and I was going to do that once I was free.I just needed a better weapon.

I saw a bottle of mouthwash and opened it.I threw it at him and hoped it would hit his eyes.I heard him scream out in pain.I had given myself a little advantage.While I wasn't looking he had grabbed the curtain rod again.

He slammed it down onto my throat again.It made me lose my breath.He was using all of his strength on the rod.I was slowly dying.I yelled out. "Goodbye Jennyln. Give them all a kiss for me please."

I uttered those last words then I remembered nothing.I saw no light.All I saw was the dark.

I woke up and saw Mr.Dodge holding Helen's pale body. There was blood everywhere and I couldn't move.He came towards me and hit me in the stomach with the curtain rod in his hand.I coughed up blood.I could faintly hear someone trying to kick down a door.I closed my eyes and passed out.
