Chapter 15: Too late?

We rushed to the address Helen had given us before she left.We kicked down the door and started to look for the girls.We opened the door to the room that Helen said Wilma was staying in.She had a knife right through her heart.We were too late.

We ran out of the room and went looking for the others.We saw blood on the floor so we stopped.I looked up and saw Mr.Dodge holding Helen.She was pale.I grabbed her from his arms and handed her to Hector.

"She is gone." Hector said crying.He then punched Mr.Dodge in the face.

"You Monster!" Hector yelled at Mr.Dodge. "You killed her."

I saw Jennyln lying inside the bathtub.I picked her up.

I listened for a heartbeat then sighed with relief."She is still alive but very weak." I said.

Hector picked up both Helen and Wilma bodies and carried them.I kicked Mr.Dodge.

"Come near her again and I will kill you.You must leave town now." I told him.

He ran out of the house and was never seen again.
