Chapter 16:The end of the story

6 weeks later

It was the day of Wilma and Helen funerals.We had one unexpected funeral to attend.Hector had killed himself after he was home.It was just me and Zander now. I was alone in my house.I felt lost.

" You ok Jennyln?" Zander asked.

"I'm all alone now.She is gone.I am going to miss her." I say with tears in my eyes.

"You still have me.I talked to my parents and they said you could come live with us." Zander said with a smile on his face.

"Really?Thank you." I smile and hug him.

It might be the most happy ending but it better then how my life was before.Always being scared.Always living in fear.No one had seen Mr.Dodge since he left that day.I had lost the baby.I never told Zander about the baby.

We have started being more intimate recently.We haven't had s*x yet but I was glad I had him.I said my final goodbye to the departed then went home to pack.

2 days later

I had finally finished moving in.His parents and older brother accepted me with open arms.They never mentioned my past.I was so grateful to them.
