Chapter 8

Zayn Pov 

I walk back into the pack house and walk into my office, I'm fuming that Sophie didn't listen to me, I know she is my beta but she is also my little sister, I could have lost her yesterday and I don't want to feel like that again, “Zayn sweetheart, you need to calm down” Maisy my beautiful mate she knows i struggle when people disobey me, she come over when I don't say anything and pull me into a hug “ you need to calm down Zayn she saved me, cut her some slack, because we all know that when she find out her secret she isn't going to want to know anyone” she right, she won't, I sigh “I guess you're right I'll speak to mum and dad and see what they say” i look at Maisy and smile “ thank you for always being there for my Luna” she smile and i leave my office.

‘Dad you got a second I need to talk to you about Sophie’ ‘ yeah meet me on the training grounds’ ‘ be there in 2 minutes’, as approaching my dad I can tell he is pissed off, “Dad” he turns and nods, “ we need to tell Sophie the truth, that she is half witch and that she could possibly be in danger” he sigh but doesn't say anything.

After a few minutes he responds “ your right, we will all sit down tomorrow, you might want to invite Liam, I know he is her mate” “yes father, see you then” I mind-link Sophie as I'm walking back to my office  “ Sophie my office now” “Yes Alpha” I sigh she know that bugs me, I need her not to hate I'm going to tell her myself now, couple of minutes later Sophie knocks on the door “come in Sophie” she opens the door “Hey, everything alright?” I sigh and get up from my desk. I take her hand and lead to the sofa, we both sit down. I look down in my lap “Zayn what's wrong? You're starting to worry me ``I look at her, I still have her hand in mine “Sophie you know I will protect you and be there for you, don't you?” she sigh “ I know, your the best brother anyone can ask for and I know why I'm here and you don't have to worry, I know I'm not your real sister, I know mum and dad aren't my real parents” she  squeezed my hand, she knew and she didn't tell me, “ how?” “ I heard you and Liam when I was in the bathroom at the hospital” guilt hit me and I pulled her in for a hug. “ I'm so sorry Sophie, you will always be my sister no matter what” “ I know and you will always be my brother” she smiles at me.

“There is something else you need to know, dad was going to tell you tomorrow, but I think as you brother i should tell you” I sigh and take a deep breathe “ Your half werewolf and half witch, you mother was the Queen of her coven and your father was a werewolf they were mates, your mothers people didn't accept that the Queen was mated to a werewolf and killed them both, after they put you in safe hands”, she got up and walked out, s**t! 

Sophie Pov 

Why? Why didn't they tell me? I walk outside and keep walking. I'm so angry I start walking toward the training grounds when I get to the middle of it, I get this feeling inside me and it's getting stronger and stronger, the clouds start to get dark like there's a storm coming, the wind picks up at quite a speed, lightning strikes the ground, and then I get this massive pain shoot through my body I let out a massive scream not being able to hold it in, I fall to my knees, lightning strikes again, I scream again my body is getting hot and its unbearable, “Sophie” Zayn is calling out for me, just when another pain hits me, I scream and hold my head but it's not going away, I fall on to the floor, I hear people shouting and crying I can't make out who they are “Sophie you're going to be ok”, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry” I try to stay away from the darkness, why has the last couple of days been a nightmare, why? With that question in mind, darkness takes over.

Liam Pov 

Me, Blake, Lily and Max were sitting in the living room when I heard Zayn shouting for Sophie “Sophie stop! Sophie” the door slams and I go out and Zayn is going after her, her parents then come down “ why did you tell her?! We were going to tell her tomorrow? Why? Now we have lost her!” I stand there waiting for them to tell me what is happening with my mate, Zayn looks at me with a nod and I know he has told her. s**t!

As we walk outside it looks like there's a storm coming, I start walking towards the training ground, they are all following me, not in the mood to talk to anyone, then I heard a scream I knew it was Sophie, I look to Zayn and we both take off running, when we get there Sophie is on her knee, my heart is racing we all run over Zayn calls out for her “Sophie” no reply and then she screams again holding her head and falling to the floor I was my wolf speed and reach for her head, I lean in to whisper in her ear hoping she can hear me “Sophie you're going to be ok” Zayn's repeating himself “I'm sorry, I'm so sorry”, I go to pick her up but her father stops me, “She is coming into her witch powers, it's best if we all stay out here with her, incase her powers are to strong” I nod.
