Sophie Pov “SOPHIE GET UP YOUR LATE FOR THE MEETING” Zayn my brother yells through mind-link “ok i'm coming now” sighing i quickly brush my hair, wash my face, brush my teeth and throw on a black t-shirt and legging, rushing out the room to Zayns office, having my brother as my alpha is alright but being his beta is stressful. Knocking on his office door I stand there for a few minutes, “come in” as i walk into his office i bow my head “Morning Alpha” Zayn shoots me a glare because he hates it when i call him alpha “ do you always have to do that? It annoys me, my own sister doesnt need to call me alpha” i hold in a giggle and try to remain formal “ yes because i'm not only your sister i am your beta, so sometimes i have to be formal” he shoot me another glare and said that i missed the meeting about rouges and that the alpha king is coming to visit soon. Great more stress to add to my plate, whilst also being a beta, i work at a restaurant to help with the pack expenses, not that we need it but i like to do my part. Heading there to start my long ass shift i have this weird feeling and my wolf Sage is pacing which is driving me crazy, she is unsettled and i don't like it, ‘ Sage what is going on your giving me a headache with all the pacing’ she stop pacing and lays down ‘Something coming Sophie i can feel it, something is going to happen, but not sure what’ ‘ Great, so do I have to watch my back at work or just be on alert?’ No matter what she tells me I'm still going to be alert, it's not like her to be like this. Arriving at the restaurant, im 5 minutes early so i go and put my stuff in my locker and get sorted whilst getting ready i mind-link zayn, ‘ Zayn heads up that sage is acting weird and she told me something is going to happen but she isn't sure what’ Zayn replies within seconds ‘ Ok, be on alert, if you need me mind-link me and i'll be there as soon as i can’ ‘ Thanks bro, love you’ ‘Love you to sis’ with that i cut the link off. Walking through the kitchen i see my boss and try to make myself invisible because he is such an asshole, “ Ah, Sophie so glad you can join us “ jax’s is the asshole i was telling you about, “yes Jaxs i made it and now excuse me i'm going to sort my area out” Whilst he is still screaming for my attention i have already walked out and cleaning my area ready for guests to arrive.
