"Joseph, right?" This beautiful scent of roses enveloped me again and even before she said anything, I knew she was here. I turned and Lilly came closer to me.
"I know I'm probably the last thing on your mind right now." Her words were self-pitying, but the look she gave me was angry. She looked down immediately and continued. "Let's get over with it."
I raised my brows. "With what?"
She looked at me for a long time and said irritably. "If you forgot, I'm your second chance mate. And since we don't plan to embrace the mating bond, I'd rather get rid of it now."
