“BONE BREAKERS!! BONE BREAKERS!! BONE BREAKERSSSS!!!” the crowd screaming. The cheerleaders cheering their teams and everyone cheering their favourite players with an excitement. I am standing behind the cheerleaders and cheering Ryan. It’s the interschool sports competition hosted by our school and every school participates in this fest. Ryan is good at many sports but particularly he’s the ace of our basketball team. No one could ever defeat our basketball team in any of the competitions since Ryan’s participation, it’s also because of our talented team members and their team work. The game is going interesting as the opponent is playing well. Game started five minutes ago yet no one scored it seems like a tough one, but I have the confidence that we will win over the trophy. Dane is dribbling the ball and approaching the net but the opponents defence is so good that he can’t forward so he passed the ball back to Ryan. Ryan was showing off his control over the ball to the opponents by that time Lewis reached near the net and the defence over there is weak, then Ryan shoot the ball to Lewis. Lewis just passed the defence so fast and scored the point. And the score now is 15-10. The game was on fire for the past ten minutes and I wonder how they manage to play after playing so hard, they must be drained out of energy. Now the score is even we have to score a point within two minutes or else the match would be draw and they have to play again which drains them a lot. They asked for some break, Ryan came to me and asked “do you believe that we can win?” I said “Of course you should and I believe in you and our team!” “Ok! Just watch the game. See how it is going to catch fire.” He said and gathered their team members, they discussed for a few seconds forming a circle. After their discussion they entered the court shouting “come on bone breakers, the game is ours!!” The match started and is about to end in two minutes. The opposite team is doing their best and trying to defend well so that they can draw the match. There’s still one minute to change the game. Joe tried the jump shot and the ball went almost inside the net but it fell down. s**t! Only thirty seconds is left how are we going to win? At that time Ryan ran towards the net and took control over the ball and dunked it. Yay!! We scored a point and the score is 40-39. The game ends in five seconds, the opposite team tried their best but can’t make it. So now our school won the basketball trophy! I shouted “ohhhh Ryan” but it seems like am not the only one shouting his name, so it was like a group screaming his name and it was crazy. I was so happy at that moment because our school made it and my best friend played awful and helped in grabbing the winner title. His team members hugged in joy and their faces shows an expression of victory. Then Ryan ran towards me and hugged me saying “thank you for believing in us and cheering me”. I don’t know how to react because I was shocked by his sudden sweaty hug. Then I moved him away from me and said “Eww! you are sweaty! Congrats for winning.” He said “I’ll see you in the tennis match” and ran away. In an hour I have a tennis singles match. I wonder how Aaron could study even at this situation, I guess this might be the reason for his good scores. He even refused to come see the basketball match with me. Since I have some time I think I could pay a visit and update him about the matches. There’s a chance that there might be no one because we don’t have classes due to the sports fest and no one would prefer to roam in the class at this time. As expected there’s only few of them, Aaron and Mrithula studying at the back, ken is taking a nap in the front. Aaron noticed me after sitting beside him. He smiled at me and looked into my eyes then we got stuck in that gaze for a few seconds. “What pleasure do I owe to see my princess at this time?” Aaron flirted with his sweet voice. “shh!!” I said and made an eye gesture that there are people around us. He closed his eyes meaning I know and made a gesture of so what with his hands. I glared at him, then “ok let’s keep it down” he whispered into my ears which made me blush. Aaron knows how to tackle me, his every movements make me feel special and his flirting skills are incredible. We are keeping our relationship as a secret only few of our close friends know about us, that’s the reason I asked Aaron to lower his tone. Aaron got hold of my hands under the desk and rubbed them smoothly. He asked me “so when is your match?” “Still half an hour to go. Are you coming to see my match?” I asked him. “Maybe or may not” he said. “Oh you still haven’t decided? Its ok there will be many of them to cheer me up. You better not waste your time and study” I said with a sad tone. “Ok then. Play well and snatch the first place” he said. I said “who do you think your girlfriend is? It’s sure that I’ll win the match”. “Yeah I know” he said and laughed at me. After a few minutes I took my hands off from his and said “ok it’s time for me I have to go and do some warm-ups before the match. I’ll see you after the match”. He said “okay, Bye play well!” I came to the tennis court, while am doing the warm-ups they announced that tennis singles match for girls will start in five minutes so participants come and verify before the game starts. Ryan came towards me running and said “blow it off!” with a hand punch. “Wait and see” I said clicking my tongue. Suddenly I got the feel like am I showing off too much? What will I do if I lost the match? I was confident enough until this thought popped in my mind. Now I feel a bit nervous about the match. I drank some water and told myself that it would be ok and tried to focus myself. The match started and I made it to finals. I almost lost in the last match, thank god the opponent made a mistake. The finals is about to start and am inside the court waiting for the whistle to blow. The serve was done and the game is going well and tough. The score is five on five, we are on the same points. I am almost drained and playing hard but I kept on losing and I fell back on score of six to eight. I can’t able to concentrate anymore and I thought that I am going to lose. But then I noticed Aaron in the crowd cheering for me and shouting my name loud and saying you can do it. His presence and his cheers lifted me up and I felt unrealistically energetic. I told myself that I can do it, I should do it for him and then I focused in the ball with a confidence and played the game. After a tough game finally I made it, yes I won the tennis match singles for girls. I was so happy at that moment, at the end of the game. Ryan came to me and said “you are so slow and taking this much time to beat the opponent”. I said “shut your mouth” and wiped all my sweat, by that time Aaron came to me with an energy drink and gave it to me. He said “you played awful and the match was interesting to the end”. “Oh really! I thought I played worse and Ryan also said that I was slow…” I kept on complaining about how I played. Aaron held my hands and interrupted me “you are great and played well. Now relax” he said. His words actually comforted me a lot and I felt better. “Thank you for coming to see my match. I thought you wouldn’t show up” I said to him smiling. “It’s your match how can I miss it” he said and smiled at me. I just want to freeze this moment and want to be in this forever because I am happy to the core and I won the match!!!!
