"So I was thinking of spending the entire day together?" suggested Violet.
"Sounds fun," I said.
"Great," she squealed," Let's grab Andre and go out."
"Yeah," I agreed.
"Ice cream mommy!" Andre gasped.
"Go order some," I urged.
I smiled softly as Andre ran off. Violet followed him as I waited behind. Just as Andre ran away, I received a text.
Him:
I see you at the mall.
I looked around the food court wondering what Alex meant. I finally spotted him in his fancy business attire and lousy smirk.
"What'd you want Alex?" I scoffed.
"I just wanted to say hi," he said.
"Well, I literally have everywhere else to be," I said angrily. I wasn't in the mood to talk.
"Calm down," he laughed.
