Adult scenes marked with '###' I sat in Riven's office atop his desk at the Pack House. It had only been a few days since the chat at the bonfire, but tonight was the meeting between Packs. Crescent Pack had requested we meet at their Alpha's office. Both Riven and I felt like this could turn ugly, so we had planned to take the Gamma's in with us, and have the rest of the Pack secluded around the grounds, so should something go wrong, we would be evenly matched. Aside from me, he was still very much a human. Riven looked to be on edge, which surprised me a great deal. He always seemed so collected. I nudged his thigh with my boot, "What's wrong?" He didn't look up from his paperwork, "I'm taking my human mate into enemy territory." Gently taking his face in mine, I made him look at me, "I might be human, but I am great when it comes to negotiations. Everything will be fine." In all honesty, I was extremely stressed about this meeting myself, but I wouldn't let him know that. I was intent on finding out if I could make this life mine, and I wanted to do it properly to be sure. "The Crescent is deadly, they are backstabbers." I leaned down and kissed him, I couldn't help it, he just looked so darn cute. He moaned at me as he pulled me off the desk, onto his lap. ### A soft moan escaped my lips as I felt his bulge between my thighs. He kissed me slowly down my neck. I was already soaked, and at this point, I didn't care if I'd turn into a werewolf, my body wanted him. Taking his hand, I placed it under my dress, right on my soaked underwear. He growled against my skin, "Fvck." he slipped his fingers into my underwear and I gave an involuntary whimper as his fingers slipped inside me. I was sure my nails would leave marks on his shoulders as I clutched him so tightly as he moved his fingers in and out slowly. "Oh, faster, please." This was new. I was normally rather quiet when it came to anything s****l. He did as I asked and quickened his pace. "Riven, I want you inside me." His free hand clutched tightly at my back as I rode his fingers. I could feel how wet I was. "You feel so good. My Luna, tell me you're mine." "Oh god, yes, yes I'm yours." my back arched, I was already so close to my peak, but I didn't want this to end. He lightly nibbled at my neck, "My beautiful Luna." And that was all I needed, "Riven!" I all but screamed as I came undone. ### I dropped my head to his shoulder, my body shaking. Slightly embarrassed that the whole Pack must have heard me screaming out his name. "You are so beautiful." I ground my core against him and he gasped, "Harley, we can't." I didn't care, my body was running on lust. I wanted him and I wanted him now. "I don't care, Riven, I want you with me. Now." There was a knock at the door and I sighed. Going off from him, he stood, "What?!" The door opened and Jesse stood there, "Um, the meeting, Alpha. We should leave now to get there on time." he glanced at me, and I was sure he could see how flustered I was. Riven turned to me, "Are you ready?" I nodded, "Let me just go freshen up first." He smirked, knowing exactly what I meant. *** What I had not been expecting was to walk into an extremely large mansion carved out of stone. The place was filled with what I assumed to be Crescent Pack members. I stayed close to Riven, not feeling very safe with the way I was being looked at. We walked into an office, a rather large burly man sat behind the desk, his dark beard nearly reaching his chest. On either side of him stood two equally large men, a cold gaze in their eyes. A young man with dark red hair sat on the sofa. I assumed this to be Lowe's father because he had the same eyes as Lowe. And next to him... My heart stopped. The man with piercing blue eyes and long black hair stared back at me. I had forgotten all about Jake being a part of them. He smiled cruelly at me as he stood, strolling over to us, his hand extended to Riven, "Ah, Riven, nice of you to bring your b***h with me, but isn't she human?" Riven pounced, punching him in the face, which sent him straight to the floor. The man behind the desk stood, "Alarick, I thought this was a friendly visit?" Riven turned to him, "It is until your henchmen decide to disrespect my mate." The man's eyes widened, "I do apologize for my Beta, his mouth works before his mind does." Jake got up, glaring daggers at Riven, "Ah, Riven doesn't know. I know your little mate." I swallowed hard as Riven turned to me, questioning in his eyes. "He's Jake, my ex. I didn't know that he was a werewolf." The larger man waved a hand around, "We can sort all of this out later, we are here now to discuss my son's Mate and our pup." I placed a calming hand on Riven's arm as we sat. The man extended his hand to me, "How rude of me, I am the Crescent Pack's Alpha, Declain Crescent." I politely shook his hand. He grinned at Riven, "A human mate, I must say, I am surprised. You've always despised humans." Riven's eyes narrowed, "We are here to discuss a way forward for the packs. My daughter is convinced that your son is her mate." I rolled my eyes, "Look, Beth is in love with your son and Lowe wants to know her dad. If the two of you have issues, sort it out. Lowe shouldn't have to suffer. And nor should Beth or your son." Declain smirked, "Ah, she's feisty. I like her," he turned to me, "What do you suggest?" Riven sat forward, "I-" "Let your mate speak, let's give the human a chance to show us what she's got." "Well, maybe the two of you should back off and let Beth and her mate handle things. They are both adults after all." Riven nodded, "Yes, we stay out of it. We call a truce." Declain looked over to the man on the couch, "Come here." He stood and came over to us, "You want to see Beth and the pup?" He nodded. "Fine. Get your ass into gear and start acting like a Beta again, you step one foot out of line and I'm pulling out of this agreement, you got it?" He nodded again. I frowned at him, "You don't talk much, do you?" He smiled, "Only when necessary." Declain nodded, "You're all excused, I have some things to discuss with Riven." Everyone aside from myself and Jake left. Jake walked over and sat at the edge of the desk, "Now, can we discuss how well I know this little minx?" Without thinking, I slapped him across the face, "Leave me the f**k alone, Jake." Riven raised his brows in my direction, clearly shocked at my outburst. Declain chuckled, "She will make an excellent Luna, spirited." Jake smiled, "Riven, I can call you Riven, right? She is very much human, now, I don't need to tell you how strange it is for a Luna not to be born into a pack." Riven stood, "I am not going to sit here for this. We call a truce, but if any of you cross a line, the truce is off and I will kill each one of you myself. Your Beta here stays away from Harley." Declain turned to Jake, "You heard that?" Jake glared at me but nodded. He wasn't fooling me though. I knew that look in his eye all too well. Determination. This was far from over, he would never just give up. Especially not when he knew I meant something to someone else. I knew exactly how his mind worked and I knew that this would end in disaster. Sighing, I followed Riven out to his car. He didn't say much as he started the car and we drove away. "Riven?" "I don't like that ex of yours. I have a feeling that he is going to try something." "He probably is. He's not very trustworthy." "Is he the one your parents had you set to marry?" "Yes, that's him." "I wonder if your parents know of him being a werewolf." "Why would they know? This isn't exactly something we all know about, Riven." "They are in business, most packs are involved in the mafia, big money." I frowned, "Are you?" "Where do you think I got all my money from?" "What? So you kill people?" "I have, now others do it for me. We sell drugs." "You destroy lives and you think that's fine?!" "Harley, please, calm down." I was fuming, "I will not calm down! What else are you hiding from me? I could never be with another liar!" He pulled the car to an abrupt stop and turned to me, "I did not lie to you. I was waiting for the right time to tell you so that you didn't freak out like you are. Harley, I have never cared about humans, so this is what I do and I do it without remorse." That hurt somehow, "Riven, news flash, I'm human!" "I know, this is why I said it's life's cruel joke. My mate is human, the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with is human. This changes nothing, even if you never wish to turn. I will love you all the same as a human." I shook my head, "It changes a lot of things, Riven. You kill people." "Only bad people." "You hate humans. You hate us." I felt rage build up as tears slipped from my eyes. He placed my face in his hands and gently pulled me to face him, "Harley, I was faulted. How could I possibly continue to hate humans when I love one so much?"
