What Are You Doing

Lefina after hearing the door open, she put down the ladle and welcomed them. "Welcome dear cu-"  

"ARE YOU THE OWNER OF THIS PLACE?" One of the big guys shouted. He is looking at Josh who's sitting at the counter. "Where is the girl?" 

Josh raised his brow, "Ha? Who are you?" He stands up and tries to scare the three guys, sadly they only smirk at him,  'Who is the girl that this guy is talking about?' Josh looked behind him and saw Lefina walking closer to them. 'Don't tell me Lefina has a relation to this one'. Josh disbelievingly looked at Lefina, "You... You.. cheated? affair? I'm doing all my best for you to love me, and yet.. you.. you still want another guy?"  

"STOP YOUR ILLUSION", Lefina slapped Josh hard after she got close to them, she stared at the three with an intimidating aura. 

This time the three shrink back after Lefina's appearance. "A...a giant?" One guy shouted.

The big guy who has a bald head looked at Josh, "Wait, didn't this guy say that he is doing his best to love this man?" 

While the big guy who has a scholarly aura shaked his head, "We didn't come to fight them, look for the girl." He politely smiled at Lefina, "Sorry boss, we are just looking for the two girls who entered this inn while ago. We are not going to disturb you and just ask a question, where is the room?" The three of them may be big but this guy infront of them is not just big but scary too.  'We must give face to this guy to avoid trouble.' 

Lefina's appearance is manly, her appearance is more like a man than a woman, so anyone who she met is likely to judge her as a man except for the human who has knowledge about dwarf and has a good instinct. But that is her insecurities, because in her race she is stronger than her brothers even though she's a girl.  

The three didn't see the darkening face of Lefina, Josh is the only one who noticed. "My goddess don't take it to heart they are just dumb." 

Dan who is silent the whole time talks too. "Lefina, they are looking for a girl. Why not ask first who is the girl?" Dan hints at her that this is all about Lilibeth and Liberaine. 

"Right! Who are you? That girls are my guest and customer here so why would I tell you about them?" Money first before pride. 'Those two girls are my future money so why would I let them do whatever they want here and besides that little girl.. is dangerous.' Although Lefina loves money, she cannot ignore the presence of the little girl. A giant dwarf's passive ability is their strong senses that is quadruple compared to a human. Because of her keen senses, she knew that little girl is not normal. She becomes courteous to them not only because of a reward but also because of the aura of that child. Lefina really suspected Liberaine as one of the ancient. 

"Uhh we are... the parents of the two." The guy who's a blabber mouth said.

The big guy who has a scholarly aura wanted to rip his friend's mouth, 'Why is this guy becoming an i***t each day? Did we look like a parent? Where did he leave his brain?' As expected, Lefina's group didn't believe them. 

Josh who just sighed of relief knowing that they are not his rival in love fist his hand. "You! you three must be a thug. If you don't tell the truth I will beat you up." 

The scholarly guy immediately said, "We knew their parents so we are only helping them to go back to their home." He reasoned. 'This sounds plausible right?' 

Josh angrily said, " You just want to get our house." His mind became clouded because of the reward he thought he would get.

But Josh's words trigger Lefina , she ready herself to attack. The three are shocked and quickly defend themselves. They didn't know why this guy attacked them and being unreasonable, soon a noise of whimpering can be heard in the inn. 

After Lilibeth and Liberaine change their clothings, they go downstairs and find a three big man kneeling in front of the counter. 

Liberaine knows the aura of the three men, they are the one who's following them. She already planned to deal with them at midnight but she didn't know that these guys are so bold to make a move at this time. Seeing them crying, she wanted to laugh, she looked at the big 'macho man' who's both hands is in 'his' waist and felt that maybe 'he' is the reason why this three is in this situation. 

Lefina told them about what happened while they were eating, and Lilibeth said that they didn't know who these guys were, and they are definitely not their parents. They decided to tie them first and hand them to the guild tomorrow. 

Night arrives and all of them are now resting. Past midnight, Liberaine opened her eyes and silently walked downstairs. After walking passed the kitchen, she got a glimpse of the three big guys. They are sleeping in sitting positions. Both their hands and feet are tied. 

Liberaine cast a mark spell to the three. Mark spell is a mid level spell of the witches. She felt her body become weak after casting. Because of the continuous chant she's done yesterday and today, her body is now tired and needs to rest. But she must confirm something. She wanna know the location of the mastermind behind this. She knew that these guys would keep coming to them, so she marked them. Liberaine is not the same as the past and not that alert, she could only feel the aura around her when she is focusing. But from marking, she will know their location even when she's asleep.

After marking them, she went outside the inn, and walked in the nearest alley just beside the inn.  

In the dark area, she closed her eyes and felt the area around them. She opened her eyes and looked upward like she noticed something.  

Even though her language is not the same as the people who are living here. She can't help but say. "Don't hide in the dark." 

Soon a figure appears in front of her, the figure is the same aura as the one who put her in the pole of a restaurant, this time he is not wearing a black robe. He is wearing a purple robe with a gold linen in his sleeves. Because it is dark she can only see the tip of his purple robe and not his face. 

 Liberaine wanted to know the face of the young man, she really felt that she knew this guy. She moved closer and touched the bare face of a young man.  

The young man grabbed her hand, he said in a deep voice, "What are you doing?"
