Entering The Guild

While in the way, Liberaine kept feeling and tried seeing the little balls in her open-eyed state. She doesn't want the earlier accident to happen again where Liberaine must first close her eyes first to feel the little balls around her before releasing the power to the target. If her eyes are closed and with the fragile body of her, who would protect her while she cannot see what is happening when she's chanting? It is inconvenient for her especially when the target is moving. She needed to enhance her senses as soon as possible.
After practicing she discovered that it's really hard to see the little balls when her eyes are opened. If she cannot feel it she could not borrow their power to merge with her own. Liberaine knows that even if she has knowledge it is not enough. In the past in order to strengthen her senses she made medicines and bathed in them everyday. But with her situation now it is impossible to gather those ingredients. She is also wondering if those ingredients exist in this world. The only thing she could do is familiarize herself in the aura of the little balls.
Even though she's now a little bit familiar in their aura in her opened-eye state. Knowing their auras around her doesn't help Liberaine in borrowing their magic. Like for example, in front of her are three little balls circling around her. When she closed her eyes she could see and feel them but when she opened her eyes she only knew the three little balls were in front of her but didn't know what they were doing and can't identify what elements or color from their aura.
Liberaine must have mastered this first stage before going to the next step of chanting in her open-eye state.
The two guards led them to the nearest guild in Kioka Kingdom.
The sight when they entered makes the two girls amazed. Liberaine kept glancing around the area inside the guild. Right after they entered there's a mini board on their left side where the pictures of criminals are posted.
While in the way in the registration area they saw different races with their own party. Liberaine finds an orc human, its body is so huge, muscles keep twitching when walking, a bald head with a wide nose, ears that are the same from the shrek movie and the bronze skin. She wonders if that is called the half species in the novel.
While Liberaine is entertaining herself, glancing at the different species. Lilibeth is looking around too. Like her young miss, Lilibeth's world is narrowed too. Even when she became 13 years old, she didn't enter the guild because there's no need to. So it's her first time in the guild.
"The guild is where the different races went for finding a job and making a name for doing heroic acts. It is also a place to make identification card used for traveling, some identification card serves as their licenced in making or legalizing the business of merchants and other." The guard with a kind demeanor explained. "This time you needed an identification card so that others could identify you as a citizen abiding the rules of kingdoms and guilds. You could also upgrade your identification card to become one of the adventurers so you could have a source of income."
The young girl nodded and followed the way where the two guards were heading.
Liberaine after filling herself with new knowledge felt a tug from the young girl who was holding her hand. Lilibeth gently pulled her to go in the counter area. They lined up and waited for their turn.
Liberaine glanced at the right side. The guild is so wide that there is even a mini pub inside. Far away from her right side are tables and chairs for eating. The different races around them are having fun, holding their beer and talking aloud. At her left side and not far away from them is a silver door. She stared behind and found a girl walking with a man wearing a black suit. The girl's body is healthy, she is wearing a red dress, combining with her red ponytail in her arrogant face.
Seeing the girl, Liberaine's face went pale. She immediately stopped staring at her and turned her head forward. She tugged the young girl who is with her but the young girl is still talking to the guards about something.
Lilibeth who is listening to the guards felt a tugged in her sleeves, she looked behind and panicked inside when she found Liberaine's pale face. She is shocked and pat her head to console her, thinking that her young miss is nervous in this place.
Liberaine without no choice, pointed behind them in secret. The young girl followed where her young miss was pointing and her face darkened. She immediately pulled her young miss to hide in the guards before them.
"Why??" The guard asked.
"Sir's look behind you." The two guards looked behind them and found the girl who they do not want to meet because of the confrontation while ago, Anna.
The guard studies Anna who is not looking at them. She still didn't notice them instead her destination must be the VIP room on their left side.
"Shh... She didn't notice us. Don't look behind, just keep looking in front.''The guards instructed.
"Grrrrr.. Why is that old man looking at me again?" The girl with an arrogant voice sounded as she walked closer to them.
"Ms. Anna the boss just wanted to talk to you about something." The man who's right beside her said.
"Hmmmp!! Be thankful to me because I'm busy looking at the ugly girls who escape from my grasp. And yet here I am making time for that old man." Anna angrily said.
"Yes, yes!!" The man answered.
They went to the Silver door and entered.
Seeing them entered the four sighs of relief.
"Sir, that girl is here. That girl may give us another trouble again." Lilibeth said. Her head is aching because of this unlucky encounter.
The guard agreed. "You are right. After you finish your things here, we must go immediately and report to the captain what happened so he can put a counter measure just in case."
Luckily they don't need to keep waiting because they are right next.
