Three weeks later, Ariel and Max visited Becka and Bryan. It was the first time Max had been allowed to go out of the house after his discharge from the hospital, and the man planned to enjoy himself.
Ariel had kept her promise and didn’t move from his side during his first twenty-four hours in the hospital. Max even had to call a friend to bring her some food because she refused to go out and buy something for herself.
The young woman had also spent time with him at his place, and she almost moved in with him.
Ariel had arranged to have her house cleaned and asked to have the carpet and what was left of the coffee table thrown away, but she still didn’t feel comfortable sleeping under that roof.
